Holiday Inn AMSTERDAM - ARENA TOWERS, an IHG Hotel

The hotel staff immediately responded to my requests and they gave us free drinks for me and my wife for making the environment greener for a few days

Rooms were clean and very nice. Hotel was close by the venue for the event I was attending. It's hard to get to by taxi though, they can't pull up outside and you have to walk right round the back.

Nice check in and checkout with the staff - very informative and friendly, also very efficient I find the rooms are big and spacious, nice bathrooms and plenty of amenities in the bathroom

Everyone was very courteous and helpful. My room was great and kept clean daily.

We had a problem straight away at check-in. We had booked a twin room in advance but on arrival we were told that there were more twins available, only one double. As we were friends and not a couple then this was not suitable. It was frustrating that the hotel had effectively given away our room! Fortunately, the staff were able to resolve the problem by finding a twin room in the adjacent hotel which was connected and they gave us free breakfast vouchers. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect for our needs, comfortable and very close the the Arena which was the purpose of our stay. It was expensive, but comparable to the other hotels in the area.

Very nice place to stay

The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful… good breakfast with a variety of foods to choose from. Although there is limited transport near the hotel.. it’s a short walk to the metro station. The negative aspect was that the bathtubs stopper didn’t work and so could not have a bubble bath…and no water is provided by the hotel unless your a member of the hotel group.

Awful. Never again would I stay, the hotel room was terrible, wasn’t clean. Had other people’s hair in the bathroom, staff was rude. Have to pay extra 40 euros per day for the hotel carpark. Wouldn’t recommend!

Great location for the arena and close to the train station

The aircondition was broken. In all rooms you can‘t Open the Windows.

We booked at the last minute as our flight got cancelled from Amsterdam. They accommodated us even though the booking has not reached them by the time we did. The hotel is nice, right next to holiday inn Express. Stay was comfortable, and front desk was helpful! The hotel has a small store for supplies which was helpful. The hotel itself is very close to the arena, and is a 10 minute train ride from schiphol airport.

Attended the Eras Tour concert right down the block, amazing location for the venue. Friendly staff, great bar/dining options, convenient parking.

I moved to this hotel from another solely because it is within walking distance to the arena the concert I attended. Check was phenomenal despite the renovations that are happening presently. However, the restaurant staff and service was absolutely AWFUL! Having to motion for one’s attention for cutlery & a menu was only the start…from there I had to walk to the bar to request someone come to take my order. I watched everyone Caucasian person around me be waited on and serviced while my friend and I sat. I could go on for days about this but I’ll spare you. Just a warning for Black and brown people avoid this hotel or proceed with caution knowing you will be stereotyped and treated horribly. I would attach the GM’s card…because you’ll need it if you choose to go but it goes against community guidelines for Hotels.com imagine that?!?! Overall I rate my time in Amsterdam as a 4.5/10 with this hotel being a strong reason it’s not higher.

The breakfast was good. Quiet area and close to the ziggo dome if you’re coming for a concert. The staff was very nice and answered any questions we had. The room was small for an executive room and ac is climate controlled.

Staff was great while we were there for the Taylor Swift concert. Everyone was very accommodating.

We had a great stay! Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. Less than a 5 minute walk to ArenaA. The area is safe, but it’s not very pretty. There are not a lot of dining options nearby. The Metro station is a 5 minute walk and will take you wherever you need to go. It’s about 20 minutes to City Centre via Metro. We had no issues traveling by bus or Metro each day.
