We stayed here on our trip to Amsterdam and we love this hotel! The hotel itself is very quaint and nice size rooms and maintains the historical feel and theme of the city.
The best part of the hotel is the staff! The hospitality and service at this hotel is top notch, they are so attentive and nice. Vincent and his staff are amazing we would definitely come stay here again.

Camilla, Wolf, Victor, and other 717 staff members provided simply outstanding customer service, from walking us to nearby restaurants at dusk to drawing diagrams of the tram for easy use to providing the perfect food recommendations. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the hotel's location excellent. We can't wait to return to Amsterdam and 717.

Amazing place: elegant, plush comfort, quiet and clean. A quick stroll away from the Rijks Museum or to the busy tourist area. The staff and service were excellent.

Great central location for sightseeing but silent at night, right on the canal side and walking distance to everything. Lovely classic hotel with very attentive staff. One of the comfiest beds ive slept in and only downside for the whole stay was the room did not have an window and given it was at the bottom of the property felt a little like staying in a basement and didnt match the picture. If I was in a different room I would happily stay ago.

Staff was great. All other really poor. Very small room, shower was not working, hairs of previous people on floof in bathroom. Hotel was empty but still they refused for late check-out.

one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed at. our rooms, the patio and the bar area were beautiful, very well decorated. but as fabulous as the property was, the staff was even better. just extraordinary people. really went beyond. we loved this hotel and the people.

Beautiful property and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We loved the welcome drink, the walkability of the hotel to the rest of Amsterdam, and the employee’s attention to detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We left Houston, TX to escape a hurricane and they ensured that we could check in early. So appreciative and will definitely be staying with them in the future.

We were happy to stayed at Hotel 717.
The location is very good, and the Hotel stile let you experience a real Amsterdam atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Please, you should not expect great spaces and even elevator, so if you have problem with stairs I recommend to look other options, but for us this is not a problem at all and the room is also very good and large if you consider Amsterdam.
We will be please to be back soon !

Beautiful property with AMAZING staff! We’ve stayed at a lot of higher rated hotels around the world and the staff at at 717 is unbeatable. Kind, funny, responsive and always there to help. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

It’s in a lovely area of Amsterdam, a favourite area of ours to stay in.
The staff were pleasant.
We did not like that the WIFI was not secure. In fact, we had a warning when we tried to connect saying that it was not trusted, so we did not use it.
The staff constantly asked for our room key when we left the building. In fact, the first day we stayed the cleaner did not even lock our door after cleaning the room.
The breakfast was incredibly expensive and not very plentiful.
The walls in the bathroom had dirty marks. They were obvious to us so they should be to the cleaners.
