This place is what you can call old money, the quality of furniture and appliances are top rated, spacious and conducive... my only issue is the dimness. From reception to the rooms everywhere is dimly lit.. I feel dimmed lights should be a choice not the standard

Good location, well furnished cosy rooms with modern facilities. Television programmes limited to a few without enough variety as one would expect for such a hotel.
The epileptic internet is not strong enough to be of use.
The staff are courteous and helpful.

I've visited Calabar harbour Resort severally and I love the place but the Bar attendant very unprofessional and lazy ( esp the lady there most evenings)... The lady served me my order, went inside and slept off when I was about leaving I had to wake her up so as to clear my bills before leaving else I would have left without she knowing... Though I took a picture of her sleeping for evidence sake.

The standard has drastically declined over the years. Used to really enjoy their meals but this particular jollof was below the bar. It was so mashed and not tasty at all. Plus the wait time was incredibly long. Maybe it was a bad day, but I won't be visiting again.

Friendly staff, good food, clean. Did not like the loud music coming from the bar which played on till midnight
