About

shutterstock_403956904

If you are looking for your haven of peace and quiet yet the same paradise experience, then Station 3 is your refuge. Being the furthest from the high-end Station 1 and not as crowded as the busy district of Station 2, this area is the calmest part of White Beach. This is also ideal for those looking for accommodation at lower prices.

How to Go

By plane

The fastest way to reach Boracay is via plane. There are daily flights from Manila going to Kalibo International Airport or Caticlan Airport via Philippine Airline, SkyJet Airline, and other local airlines. From either airport, you need to get to the Caticlan Jetty Port to Cagban Jetty Port in Boracay via boats. Then ride a motor tricycle or your complimentary shuttle service from your hotel to Station 3.

By ferry

You have two options if you want to travel on a ferry or boat ride to Boracay. If you want to travel on a ferry or boat ride, the easier route is Manila to Dumaguit port. Or take a combination of land and sea travel through the Roll On - Roll Off (RORO) from Batangas port to Roxas port then to Caticlan.

By land

If you prefer to travel by land from Manila, you can ride an airconditioned bus schedule to Batangas port. Take an overnight ferry to Odiongan, Romblon. Transfer to another boat at Looc or Santa Fe port heading to Boracay.

Getting Around

A new entry process is implemented wherein you have to show your confirmed Boracay hotel reservation. There is a designated verification booth at both the Kalibo and Caticlan airports.

Taking a lovely walk on the beach is the best way to explore the stretch of Station 3. If you want to explore the nearby stations or attractions around, you can take a trike or ride a boat.

Tourist Attractions

Station 3 is an attraction by its own merits as it has the most relaxed atmosphere. But if you want to explore further, go on island hopping whether solo or with your fambam and squad. Hop on to different tourist sites such as Crystal Cove, Magic Island, Diniwid Beach, Crocodile Island, and Bulabog Beach.

Mt Luho 750x469

Head on to Mount Luho, the highest point in Boracay and see the panoramic view of the island. It’s actually a walk away from Bulabog Beach but if you want to up the ante, you may ride an ATV going to the mountain’s drop-off point.

Top Things to Do

Enjoy the laid back beach life in Station 3 by just beach bumming and swimming on its crystal clear turquoise water. Clear up your mind with the sound of crashing waves and a breathtaking view of the surreal sunset.

Bulabog 750x469

On the other hand for the adventure junkies out there, engage in some of the popular water activities. Go up and away while parasailing and chill above just like a boss. Aye captain and drift away with a paraw, a native sailing boat with two outriggers. The boat can carry as many as 8 people so enjoy the ride! For a more romantic spin, you can hire a private boat and experience a sunset sailing.

Where to Eat

Tucked along Calle Remedios, Subo offers mixed traditional and contemporary Filipino cuisine. Not only does it fill your tummy with delectable food such as Buko Puso Salad and their bestseller Paru-Paro, butterflied Chicken Inasal. The place’s nostalgic feel makes it homier. The makeshift tables are from recycled sewing machines coupled with vintage chairs.

Los Indios Bravos Restaurant 750x469

Shout out to vegans out there, Prana Restaurant in Mandala Spa and Villas is your food haven. Its farm-to-table concept offers organic, gluten-free, and healthy Southeast Asian gourmet cuisine. You can dine in not just for two in Dos Mestizos, your go-to place for no-frills Spanish food. Aside from their beef salpicao, gambas, tapas, and sangria, a deli and bakeshop alongside offer own baked bread and sandwiches.

Nightlife

Although Boracay is more regulated now and the party scene took a notch lower in the scale, there’s still a vibrant and lively nightlife on the island. Jam to the sound of Reggae beats at Red Pirates Pub. This local joint exudes and extremely chill-out vibe.

The staff at the front desk is friendly and approachable. The room where we stayed is so clean including the bathroom and closet. There was a mini fridge and a water heater provided though the heater has some fixing to do. Accessible to food stalls and other stuff. Located right at the beach front of station X.

    Boracay Grace Hotel
Budget friendly hotel with super duper amazing and heartwarming staff. When you stay here it feels like home, there customer service is 5/5 or 100/100. Their staffs are all kind and super accomodating, especially Nanay Julie and Tatay Paul (had the chance to talk to them, and they are so kind!). And a tip! Don't bother or don't worry carrying, heavy snacks or food, because beside the hotel itself is their affordable-low cost minimart. They also have there in house chef and a very affordable price to your short order request. Overall, we have a very satisfying and relaxing stay.

    Golden Phoenix Hotel Boracay
Our stay is worth the affordable price, given that it is beachfront accommodation with pool. Lighting inside the room is a little dim/dark. Some construction noises are also heard during our whole stay. Housekeeping is a little slow. Unfortunately, we had some unsatisfactory experience to the restaurant, misunderstanding with the provided menu inside the room. Food is satisfactory.
