Kamayo Beach Resort

Set along a quiet stretch of beach in Tagnasancan area of Davao, the Kamayo Beach Resort is a tranquil tropical getaway made for budget-travelers and backpackers. With its cozy rooms and ideal location, guests can enjoy all the best of the island without having to break the bank.

Checked-in guests can choose among the resort’s four room types: the Deluxe Single Room, the Deluxe Double Room, the Single Room and the Family Room. Each Nipa hut-style room comes simply furnished and is sized at approximately 20 square meters each. Each room type features an air conditioning unit, spacious beds, a seating area, and a wardrobe. The en suite bathroom comes with a hot and cold shower and a complete set of toiletries. Select rooms come with a spacious private veranda, while the more premium rooms come with a flat-screen cable television. WiFi is accessible in all rooms and select public areas around the property and is free of charge. Daily housekeeping is available.

Guests can start their mornings with an Asian breakfast at the resort’s in-house restaurant. Other local specialties are also served for lunch and dinner. Other dining options like Bahay Cubo Restaurant and Bar and Farmers V Restaurant and Grill are approximately 30 minutes away from the property. Barbecuing facilities are also available for use.

During their stay, guests can take a relaxing dip in the outdoor swimming pool or try out water sports activities like fishing and kayaking.

The resort is about two hours away from the Davao City center. Travelers coming from the Francisco Bangoy International Airport will need to take a one-hour and 20-minute car ride to get to the property.
