The rooms were good and the food was good. The entire property is rustic with. Rusty unfinished structures. Need a quiet rest for 2-3 days it 's good. No activities no. Lounge chairs … just church chairs and no. Swimming pool. Embarkation area is run-down and half the tiny island has dirty garbage where the fisherman work- Obviously this project is under financed. They encourage day (not over nite) guests to keep the cash flow going. The majority of all guests are local Philippine folks.

The island itself was beautiful - white sand, clear turquoise blue waters, great place to watch the sunset. However I'd have to say that the resort is a bit overpriced - P4k+ a night for a room with no private toilet & bath, not even a sink; Shared bathrooms were not so nice either; P1k+ for a meal for 2 pax (taste was just ok); The boat transfers and environmental fee was another P1,300 🫠. I see now why most people just go for day trips but if coming from Bacolod, the trip can take up to 2 hours, so you have to leave early in the morning and then catch the last boat trip from Lakawon at 5pm. The Tawhai floating bar was nice, there were few people when we went around 3:30pm, just enough time to enjoy the view before sunset. 3/5 ⭐.

The Comfort room is outside the room for the price we paid. And there 's a Island fee that is way expensive. There 's also separate fee for the boat if your caught late.

View is nice, but would not rival boracay or el nido as described on their website. For the price point, my expectations are barely met. I have booked cheaper rates elsewhere with a true 5 star service! Also, pictures from the website and social media are heavily edited. Just do a day trip here for Php 750 round trip boat fares with cottage rentals. If the room rental is only 1/3 of the advertised price range, I think that should be fair.

The resort should have informed us and the other guests earlier that there ' s a problem that they need to sort out, in order for us not go there anymore. We have waited there for almost 3 hours for nothing. Its a waste of time and money, we demand compensation!

We stayed there on a Sunday so it wasn't too crowded (less than 20% from capacity). The views are great. The beaches facing south are nice and the view of the horizon facing Negros and Panay islands are great during the day. The same can be said with our views of the stars during the night. The north face of the island is a bit messy (a lot of dried sea grass, trash from the sea) , but I understand that this part is much more exposed to the elements and not meant for the tourists. The service of the staff is good. They attend to our requests quickly and in a friendly manner. The rooms are clean. I could say the aircon could do some cleaning(white dust accumulated on the filters) but It still does its job pretty well. The floating bar is very nice and relaxing. I really love looking at the horizon of the sea and its easy to relax just to sit back and sip on the drinks you get from the bar. As for the food, all I can say is it was plenty for us. The food there is delicious and doesn't look cheap. The only cons I could think of would be the water (hard water, understandable because its a small island) and the internet (we had to rely on Globe and it doesn't cover the whole island). Overall, I'd say the trip there was well worth it.

Nice beach. Amazing food but a bit pricey. Room was spacious, had a fully functional ac, comfy bed and pillows but it was too far from the beach area. And there was a pile of trash with plastics and other garbage near our room.

First, their bamboo huts were so dirty. Full of seaweeds, dry leaves and trash beside the seashore. Not to be exaggerated but in reality, it is like a squatters area. Second, they have few selections of food. It was pricey and doesn't taste good as well. It's also not allowed to bring food from the outside. Third, you need to pay 400 for the entrance fee and boat ride even if you booked an accommodation. The boat was also not on time. We waited an hour and a half for it.

We truly appreciated the view and the beautiful waters of the island, however, the service and the food were both a let down. For dinner, we ordered pork sinigang. The pork was cut in huge cubes of fat with little meat. We also asked for tissues that time but the waiter said that they have none. We understand that it was an island but it is only 15 minutes away from the port. Considering that they already know the number of people who will check in, they should be able to prepare their supplies for the guests. In breakfast, they cannot even serve our meals with eggs since there is no delivery yet. There are unfinished constructions around the island which are an eyesore. We really think that the island was mismanaged. We expected better service considering that their accommodations are a bit pricey.

Food are high price. Also we had an instance when the towel has a small lip stick and they say we have to pay 200 pesos and we agreed to that, however when we are about to leave they said the management says that we need to pay 500 instead of 200. We didn't argue with that because we need to catch the boat trip early. But I am very unsatisfied with what happen.

In the back of the Island was a lot of trash, if you walking around there was a lot of trash, they don’t clean it, The smell was already very bad. Everywhere was old leaves and moldy coconuts. The food is very expensive for little portions and it don’t taste really good. They prepare already the dishes for the breakfast and microwave it, even there was like no hotel guest. If you asked for fresh food they don’t care and bring the same plate from the microwave again. It’s disgusting. Not enough staff to give service at dinner. The water from the shower and from the sink was not clean(a lot of little yellow and brown pieces) and salty, there was no pressure so you have to wait a long time to get water. The bathroom was already moldy. The toilet wasn’t really clean. The lock from the door looks like 15years old. The mosquito net smells dusty and moldy. The bedsheets had a lot of sweat( white spots). The towels had brown spots( looks old). The resort is not worth it to spend that expensive money.

Pros: - great service from the restaurant staff. I’d like to think they’re making up for the lack of food available. They’re genuinely nice and helpful. - food taste great, it’s reasonably priced specially for family or big groups - the beach and sand is photogenic - less people compared to Boracay but almost same scenery (white sand, clear water) Cons: - the beach has a ton of broken glasses as soon as you step on the water. It was hard for me to let my son enjoy the water (4 year old baby) because my husband collected a ton of broken glasses in a span of 1 hour. Though IMHO it was not from the resort itself but just washed off to the shore. At any rate, they should think of ways on how to filter those for the safety of their guests - unfinished construction sites are eyesore right in front of the beach. It’s blocking the view. I also think it was haltered for some reason as there was no workers during our 4 day stay - smelly restaurant, I think their sewage system at the back of kitchen is broken/leaking or something, I can smell it while eating - Floating Bar is not available (it’s the only thing I am excited to see) though they posted on their site a few months back that it’s not open but my tickets and reservations were even made earlier so I cannot cancel anymore - There’s not much option when it comes to food. They had burgers but no buns available and it was only lunch time. They said there were a lot of guests and it’s a sunday (well they could’ve anticipated it) - the back area of the beach is so dirty! - the room given its price I have expected more (no slippers, no rugs outside given its a beach room, no hot water, water taste salty, no complimentary coffee/tea) *but this is my own comparison so read at your own risk* - the reservation staff gave me a hard time during check in because the price in site confirmation sent to me was different from her records. It’s as if she’s suspecting that I manipulated it or something. It took her 1 hour to check us in going back and fort calling god know who just to verify my records. It was a long and tiring day for me and the kids. there was no reception area to wait on so the kids have to wait in the sand. Good thing they managed to enjoy playing but it was too hot - restaurant closes at 10 so there’s no midnight snack there for you. There’s also no activity at night. Overall it was ok, but the 3 nights stay is not worth it. If you want to see it as well as take good IG photos Day tour is recommended or 1 night stay at the most.

The staff were actually good, very approachable. However, the facility is not good. Waer in the faucet is dirty, lots of unidentifiable particle, we needed to use our socks to filter it before we can use it for shower. The beach is okay, but you cant swim during low tide, there are also lots of moss. The food is very expensive, not really worth for the price. Management should not exploit people because of having any other choice. Because of this, I will not visit that place again. If the place is very beautiful, then that could change my perspective

overpriced accommodation and food, given that it's only a 15-30 minute boat ride from the mainland. the whole place is still under construction and their beach needs cleaning. they claim that they are environmental friendly but they can't even clean their own beach.
