The Peacock Garden is a European-style hilltop resort 15 minutes away from Tagbilaran City. This boutique hotel features stunning sea views, Roman-inspired furnishings, European-themed amenities, spa and wellness facilities, Old World ambience and Filipino hospitality.

Guests may book a non-smoking room with either a sea view or pool view upon request. Marble, wooden furniture, and antique European pieces are furnished in all guest rooms. The rooms each also have a flat-screen TV, DVD player and safety deposit box for valuables. Terrycloth bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries are stocked for use in the bathrooms. Upon check-in, guests are welcomed with a refreshing drink.

On-site facilities include local favorite Laya Restaurant that serves East and West fusion cuisine, Pim’s Club, a cigar lounge, outdoor patio, wine cellar, an infinity pool with amazing views of the nearby Bohol Sea; the Roman-inspired Fontana Aurelia Spa, a fitness center, outdoor pool and hot tub/jacuzzi, and a terrace for sun lounging. There’s also a playground and a games room on site for kids to enjoy during they stay.

The Peacock Garden also has full reception service, free WiFi in public places, cars for hire, business center, fax and photocopying services, meeting rooms, and even babysitting/childcare services.

The Peacock Garden is located at Upper Barangay Laya, Bohol, and is 10 kilometers away from the Tagbilaran Airport. I had no expectations when I booked this trip. It is about 30 mins away from the airport. Beautiful facility - secluded gated property. Gorgeous facility - we had a gorgeous view from our 2nd flr balcony. Staff was amazing. Breakfast buffet was included. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. This place is just about perfect. My only negative comment is it wasn’t ADA complaint for the bathroom. I was traveling with ages that ranged from 4 yo to 87 yo. Everyone really enjoyed it. The bathtub was too high for my mother. Shout out to the staff - Melissa, Cherry, Kim, Tiffany, Jon Ree others. My older son already is planing a trip back with his girlfriend.

Service at Peacock garden is AMAZING. The good is great too (although, as a big eater I usually have to eat 2 dishes). Price for the hotel itself is definitely on the more premium side, and so is food prices. Very classy hotel. Nice big swimming pool with great view over the forest and ocean. The rooms do however need an upgrade, in my humble opinion. One thing to keep in mind is that the location is quite secluded, so if you don't have a car or transport of your own it might be difficult to get around (although I believe Peacock do provided van service too!). Super peaceful, safe and tranquil environment, just what we look for when traveling. Will definitely be back again in the future, we've been here several times.

Pleasing hotel away from the hustle and bustle. Well priced with an impressive variety of mid-luxury fine dining. A beautiful infinity pool on site. A not perfect but comfortable and somewhat eclectic hotel. Service was good. Internet worked fine during the stay. The room had great air conditioning. Room amenities were also great. Enjoyable for a short stay. Good launch point away from the hectic beach resorts for relaxing or as a base point for day tours to the countryside.

I enjoyed staying at Peacock Gardens. Though it is far away from the beach, it has an infinity pool which was probably better than heading to the beach. There is a daily shuttle to the local mall and to Alona Beach. The breakfast included a hot cooked breakfast which was a great way to start the day. As for service, it was very attentive and they cleaned the rooms twice a day.

We had to plan the trip as a back up, post our last minute Thailand visit cancellation. This resort was an ideal break in that regard. It was serene, well maintained and well serviced. The service was extremely good and the food (though limited in variety), was of high quality. Even nuances like completely vegetarian food were well taken care of. The only shortcomings during our visit were the unavailability of the gym and some facilities like the Cigar room/wine cellar. But, overall it was an excellent lazy holiday which we quite relished. The rooms were well maintained, though they need to upgrade their Wi-fi service to make it excellent.

On the last night of my stay in the Philippines, I wanted to try something very fancy. This hotel did not disappoint. In fact, this was the nicest place I have ever stayed in. The staff is friendly, the layout of the hotel grounds is beautiful, and the rooms are large and comfortable. My girlfriend and I spent a lot of time by and in the infinity pool. She went for a four-hour massage experience while I took advantage of the view, sitting out on the balcony and viewing the ocean. The food at dinner was great. The drinks were good. And though I would expect everything to be super, super expensive, it was all actually fairly, and I'd even say very well, priced. I highly recommend staying here.

This is an isolated hotel with an amazing view (although during our stay in the suite they had erected giant tents over the patio which blocked our view from the room). The staff are very helpful but the overall feeling is one of uppercrust so you lose that familial feeling you get at other hotels. That being said, it is nice to be pampered...for a price.

This is a great place to go to unwind and get away from everything. The hotel is located up on a hill away from all the noise of town, but this does move you away from the beaches, too. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and well kept. The infinity pool is brilliant and the spa services are first rate and affordable. My only complaints were that the internet was out for the first day and slow for the remainder of the stay and that the Jacuzzi temperature is low. Service is great, and the food is pretty good.

Great little place located on Bohol. Area is secluded from the city and beach hotels, but offers a different type of experience closer to nature. Short car ride to area attractions such as Chocolate Hills and Bee Farm. Would recommend to anyone seeking a break from the beach to relax and be properly pampered.
