My partner and I stayed at the Village House with Roy, his wife and at the time only son German for a few wonderful nights. This is one of those places you get to and instantly wish you had booked it longer. His hospitality was simply amazing, extremely humble, knowledgeable and generally just a down to earth friendly guy. Getting to know his family in such a welcoming environment, learning about local life in Palawan and the Filipino culture in general was such an added bonus to the amazing accommodation he offers.
The Village House is a beautiful artistic two-story wooden house made to feel like a home. Roy's fine attention to detail means that the house is equipped with everything you might need. The house is clean, airy, surrounded by beautiful gardens in a private area with Roy never to far away if you need something.

This wonderful and genuine bamboo villa in the heart of Puerto Princesa is so cozy! Here you get to live in the middle of the local population and the house is absolutely magical! The family looking after you are also absolutely lovely and will help with anything you need!

We spent 2 nights at the Village House. The house is cool, clean, comfortable and really beautiful and Roy and his family were super friendly and helpful and took great care of us.
If you want to experience Philippino culture in a Filipino neighbourhood I highly recommend it.

Great host, Roi, he was super helpful.
Beautiful bamboo house and great restaurant near by. One of the most unique places Ive stayed. Amazing decor and such a relaxing place to stay. We were really blown away with the room/house.

It's a local house in local area it's a bit far away from anything nice in its own way but no way to lock the door or security
