Very good location for overnight stay when coming from Checzk. Check in after midnight was smooth and fast, breakfast with wide variety and tasty food. The rooms we got were outdated but beds very comfy. Would stay for overnight again if travelling on this route. Parking in guarded area was for small extra fee.

I made a reservation like two months in advance but couldn’t make it to the hotel on the day of the check-in because of a health issue. It was impossible to reach them out by phone and say that I’m arriving next day and so they gave my room to someone else. They didn’t call me, they didn’t sent me any email, the status of booking on their website didn’t change. Btw I’m part of their amazing loyalty program. And they kick me out like that. So sweet. I just wish the administration to find themselves in exact same situation when you’re sick and absolutely exhausted after the trip and are denied to stay in the place you payed for (and the food also). I hope it returns for every single of them. Answer to the hotel management: don’t try to sound nice now after you never picked up the phone when I called you let you know I’m not arriving. You almost made me sleep under a bridge the night you said my reservation was cancelled and the hotel is fully booked. And I kinda understand why no one if picking the phone. The girl working on the reception is a waitress at the same time. How about you hire more people and everybody does their job?

My comments: - no 220V power socket near bed - unparalleled in other hotels or apartments Other was OK - very compact but functionally room, very fast elevators - I never waited for it. Bed could have soft headrest.

The check-in experience was smooth and fast. The apartment 550 was spacious, clean and tidy. Everything needed for the stay was available. Only issue in the bathroom was that the soap dispensor for washing hands was damaged in the toilet. So I had to use soap dispensor in the bath. Our staybwas comfortable. The staff at the bar was rude, the woman at the bar misbehaved with my wife because she needed a cola for take away and could not speak polish.

This Ibis located rather far from Katowice, but that is only problem with that. There is plenty of options for food and shopping around, so there is no need to travel there at the end . Hotel parking is paid, but there is pretty big free parking right next to it. Otherwise it is usual Ibis hotel with no surprises.
