The room is beautiful clean but you are greeted by a filthy carpet when you enter the property and a lingering smell of fried food from the neighboring food hall. As for the bed, this is perhaps the worst hotel mattress I’ve ever tried to sleep on. I’ve had three sleepless nights as it was as hard as the floor. I also paid for a superior room and my friend’s room was significantly larger with no explanation offered when I asked why. I was told having a coffee machine was premium. Porto is a beautiful city but this hotel was not a good place to rest. After three nights of discomfort my back is sore and I’m exhausted.

Stayed here recently for a work trip. The staff were incredible. We arrived early hours of the morning and were taken care of exceptionally well. I wasn't well whilst staying and all the hotel staff- from reception to the restaurant - couldn't have done more to help. Fantastic location for exploring. Room was very clean, very well set out, and had everything you need for a great stay in what is a fantastic city.

Okay be honest, this is a good hotel booked it twice before, rooms are nice and staff is normally very nice, but since our last experience I'm decided to book it not anymore. We booked for 4 nights and we had a car, the Garage is small. The second night we ringed at the port of the garage and they say it was full, so we had to park somewhere else and we did 14 euro for a night. The 3th day the parking was again full they said, but after a small talk they opened the doors and there were still some places empty, so in our thoughts they lied to us The last day same story, again they said they were full but they didn't, lying again Our question was, was the other day also full or not we don't know. By checking out they charged us every night for the parking but 1 night we didn't use it, by saying that it wasn't reverseable they say, If it is a problem with a small parking garage I accept the consequences, but don't lie and don't charge if we couldn't use it. That's make me very angry and that's the reason why I'm chose next time for another hotel. There are plenty alternatives Greetings Wesley

Lovely clean and nicely themed hotel. The room and the hotel in general was immaculate, and the service was great and friendly. The bar area was nice, with a live pianist for a lot of the time we were there, and the hotel is attached to a food market with some wonderful choices both for eating and drinking. The bathroom is part of the main room (the shower and toilet are behind individual doors), but this didn't bother us at all. The shower was superb! The tourist centre is a 20-30 minute walk, or a simple bus ride. Some minor negatives (but not enough to lose stars): - The Pavarotti bar would be a lovely space for a drink, but the bar itself was always unmanned so we didn't get to use it. As a result, the pianists were generally playing to an empty room which felt a bit sad! - The breakfast was perfectly adequate, but not a lot more. Overall, a lovely place to stay with good food options, immaculate rooms, and good public transport links.

Everything was great! The room, the service, the food, etc. We were served like important guests and they even brought us treats to the room!
