Central, cheap, friendly, BUT, couldn’t control room temperature, would have liked cooler. Having said that, would definitely use again.

Positive Sides: Hotel was in great location. Everywhere is 20 mintues by walking Bedding was clean Room heat was good Negative sides: Extremly small rooms even you can not stand two person There was not any bin inside room i belove they didnt pit because there is no space They do not offer any slippers or bedding change There wasnt any soap or shampoo

The first thing I will mention is the elephant in the room. The rooms in an Easy Hotel are small. They are essentially just a bed and a shower/toilet room. I've stayed in an Easy Hotel before and that is perfectly fine for me. I'm only going to be sleeping and showering there anyway. Edinburgh Easy Hotel is much like that but it is also smack bang in the centre of Edinburgh. You can literally walk out the front door and see the castle. Tram and bus stops are right there too, as well as cafes, other eateries and shops. The only thing I might mention about the Edinburgh Easy Hotel is that I could hear people talking in the rooms next to mine. If you are a light sleeper then you may want to bear that in mind. Me, I wouldn't hear a nuclear bomb! Overall I was very happy with my stay. The staff were pleasant, the room comfy and warm (in a very cold January Edinburgh) and it was cheap. That gave me more money to enjoy beautiful Edinburgh.

No soap shampoo anything in room

Save your time and stress . The loud banging of luggage of others you will hear from other doors . Even when next door doing blow dry . This is really a cheap and poor stay that can ruin your entire holiday . If you really having budget issues maybe this will work . I made mistake booking this but I gave it a try . You won’t be able to Move on this . Save yourself and boom somewhere else .

Small room, good for Edinburgh prices, wouldn’t be good for elderly or mobility issues, bed is a little hard too

No hot water in the morning, we had to walk down two flights of stairs as there’s no lift to ask for hot water for a shower. No chair, no drink making facilities in the room. I believe these things should be basic amenities at any hotel.

There was no window in the room which i was aware of as it was the last room. The room was small and should have been a single as there was no room to move, the toilet can only be described as minature, i have seen bigger bathrooms on trains and planes. Was definitely not worth the money

The room does everything it says but is so tiny that one of you must stay on the bed while the other is up so getting changed or being in the room for anything other than sleeping is hard work!

Rooms small but I knew that. Shower/ toilet compact but very clean. Only issue was water in shower took several minutes to heat up and very few TV channels available. Paid extra forva window in standard room and window looked onto Princes St and Edinburgh Castle. Overall a very convenient location.

Great location and value for money

Really great location on Princes Street. Booked a windowless room so quiet in terms of traffic noise. Room is compact Did get some noise from neighbouring room occupant eg their alarm clock & footfall in they room

Staff were amazing. I left something behind in my room and staff were accommodating in getting to back to me. Would stay again.

The room was very clean and the staff were beyond friendly. I knew the room would be small, but not this small. The restroom was TINY and my feet were in the shower when I sat on the toilet. There was hardly any walking space and it was quite uncomfortable for 2 ppl with luggage. If you are planning to be solo in the room and not have too much luggage, then this is perfect. It feels like a dorm.

When we arrived at the hotel the 1st thing we noticed was that there was no lift, so if you have mobility issues, this hotel isn't for you. The stairs up to the reception were quite steep and my partner had to stop halfway as she has trouble with her hip and knee and is not great with stairs. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. Luckily, we were placed on the first floor, so there were no more stairs to climb. As we entered we noticed how little room there was and that the bed virtually filled the room, but that was no problem as we were going to be out for most of the day and evening. The bathroom was fairly tight too, but adequate, and the bed was quite comfortable. What made up for it all was the spectacular view we had of Edinburgh Castle and the old town as the wall was virtually all glass. The location of the hotel was great, with bus stops right outside the hotel and Princes Street Gardens opposite.

Excellent budget hotel. Clean and all you need

The location is superb. The size of the room was exactly as described...but also smaller than even a cruise ship cabin.

The rooms are tiny with the beds crammed into the rooms, being wall to wall. I'm 6 foot and I had to bend my knees, or sleep horizontally. Cheap and cheerful though, get exactly what you pay for!
