ACC Design Hotel

Centralized location, near to shopping area with food and convenience stores around. Rooms are clean and big. Basic service rendered at counter but I'm not fussed. Everything is quite self-served so if you just need a comfortable stay, you got it.

The location I excellent. In the middle of the city and still quiet. The room is well equipped. I enjoyed it, but it was very warm in the room. I turned the fan off but for some reason it stayed very hot in the room. I love the coffee place downstairs.

Front desk is not willing to help. I had tow separate but continuous reservations and asked the front desk to let me stay continuously but the front desk insisted that I bring luggage’s out by checkout time (11am) then came back after check in start time (3pm)

I loved my stay at ACC Design Hotel. I came to perform at the Buskers World Games as part of the Chungjang Festival of Recollection, and the location couldn't have been better, it's right in the middle of a vibrant and artistic part of town very close to the Asian Cultural Centre, Art Street, Downtown and many other great places. The best part of my stay was getting to know the staff at bar One Eleven whose hospitality was impeccably fantastic. All the hotel staff were wonderful and friendly, the hotel itself is arty and stylish with beautiful piano music in the lobby gallery and also in the upstairs bar for breakfast and after hours, which creates an intimate jazzy ambience. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, especially for a vegan like myself, with fresh fruit and veggie dishes and rice every morning. I would definitely stay here again when I next come to Gwangju.

It’s neat and clean; however, my room had no windows, and noise-proof was bad.

The room amenities were not as impressive as other hotels that are half the price. The internet was off the entire time and the air conditioner didn't get cold until late at night. The only thing that was great was the large bathtub.

Room was quite clean but the air conditioner was so loud and pillows are too high.but they don't have extra pillows. Broken hair dryer, small windows, loud air conditioner, and uncomportable bed.

This is my favorite hotel I have visited. I will certainly go back. It's in a great location with amazing views (suite). The room was incredible, free breakfast was nice and plenty of variety. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Very clean and looks exactly like the pictures online. I stayed in the creation twin suite. Only issue I had was the terrance tub could have been a little cleaner. But everything else was great. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

A beautiful hotel with an excellent location. There isn’t a gym which for me is a bit disappointing. Overall a great place though.

Pillows were too high, elevators smelled like a wet fish, I don’t like the tissue box besides the bed. Location was ok for the biennale but I wouldn’t go back

Nice room with fully equipped around shopping area

Great location in a large pedestrian area with lots of shops and restaurants. Some of the staff spoke good English and all were very helpful. Also convenient for accessing public transport and walking distance to the Asian Culture Centre.

Nice hotel, but checkout and breakfast earlier than anywhere else I've stayed lately. Also, be aware that if you are booking for amenities, things are limited. I was super excited about that big hot tub sized bath, but the ware got about a foot deep and then switched off and would not turn on again for the remainder of my stay. It seems there's a limiter. Hugely disappointing.

Hotel is in a good location. Lots of restaurants in the area. Feels more like a Korean motel, and not a hotel. Rooms do not have safety boxes. Otherwise, fine.

ACC Design Hotel was perfect for our family of 2 adults, 2 kids in Gwangju. For a smaller city hotel in South Korea, it was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic ~ it's right in a central shopping district that had a huge range of shopping and eating and even domestic and international brands such as Uniqlo, H&M, Starbucks, Sulbing, etc. It's near by the Asia Cultural Center (thus the name, which we didn't get to visit, but seems to have a lot to offer), and about 10-15 minutes from the bus terminal. The room we had was larger than your average room, it had 2 large beds, a nice sofa, desk, fridge and storage. Our room had a terrace with a rather large in-ground bathtub/spa that the kids treated as our own private swimming pool. The bathroom was a little small, but serviceable and somewhat nice look and feel. The included breakfast was good, it wasn't spectacular, but had enough to fill us up for each day. The breakfast room was on the 11th floor in a nice 2 story room that spanned the entire floor with views of the city. The lobby team was very helpful, even with a staff member that lived in the US only up until a few years ago, so English was not a problem and he even went above and beyond to help us buy bus tickets and print them at the front desk. The lobby also had pretty nice bathrooms, a small business center and a rather large lobby lounge, but the lounge was always empty. Overall, a great place to stay in Gwangju if you find yourself there.
