One of the best backpacker experiences I’ve ever had. For starters, the stuff, from the front desk to cleaning, they have great attitude, they are helpful and kind. The location is unbeatable, you’ll be everywhere just in a 10 minutes walk. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, huge windows and good ventilation system. The whole place is super clean and tidy. Even if you stay in a mixed 12 bed room, you have inside 3 complete bathrooms, so, you don’t feel it’s even crowded. Inside the room you get a space for your belongings you should bring a locker. There’s a common kitchen and tables everywhere where you can sit and enjoy your meal or working. There’s also a laundry room, where there’s a laundry machine and a dryer, that work with coins. It includes the detergent and softener. If you search for other places to stay they may be a little bit cheaper but for sure for all the perks that are included (in other backpackers here they charge for kitchen supplies, there’s no laundry room, only one bathroom and a tiny one for lots of people, not near to important places, etc)… this is the best you’ll find in Oslo. 100% recommended.

Very good stay at k7 hotel. Good position, good room, good price and especially excellent stuff. Eneo and his colleagues were wonderful, our stay has been great thanks to them. they helped us a lot with city tips and airport directions. The only thing I would improve is to add some breakfast vegan options.

Great and cheap hotel but the bed was not comfy at all. Cushion were hard as well. Bathroom was clean but the door for the shower was off the rail, the shower hose was leaking and the tap was loose. There's a bar near that can be noisy late at night (3am), take this into account. Small issues overall, if you just want a room to sleep and wander around it's okay though.

Pros: The dorms were simple, but the location was superb! I could easily get around on foot to all the major museums and attractions along the water front. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. I had forgotten to bring a lock for the personal locker in the dorms, but was able to buy a lock for 7 or 8 euros. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, but they do have a little cafe at the reception and a restaurant next door which both looked good. There's also a communal kitchen and laundry located on the second floor. Cons: As other reviews have mentioned, the dorm bathrooms could be improved. Mainly I would like more shelving and hooks so I don't have to put my clothes/toiletries on the floor when showering. I also would have felt more comfortable in a female dorm, but either none were available or the property doesn't offer female only dorms. Overall, what you're really paying for here is location, and for me, that was worth it.

Good hotel (it doesn’t seem like a hostel)… We stayed in a couple room for 2 nights and it was a good choice… The room was clean, the bathroom too. Kindly staff and a very nice place to stay (like a pub). PS: the laundry it works pretty good for a fair price.
