Great location. More important and appreciated aspect of the stay was the customer service received. Rodrigo at front desk was great, always smiling and helping. Even offered & packed us breakfast since our stay included it but we had to leave early for a flight. Lady at breakfast helped with whatever we needed for dietary needs and all with great smile. Very clean and well prepared kitchen. Highly recommend. Don’t hesitate.

Everything worked, and the staff were helpful, professional, and pleasant. Breakfast was good if not extensive in selection. I liked having a full kitchen when I don't want to spend the time and money to eat out. Instant coffee packets and other small freebies saved me a few trips to a store. Beds were firm and comfortable. Small things: Sound carries through the building, so don't be loud at night. Bring an eyeshade if the security lighting will keep you awake. (Can't turn it off.)

Room was incorrectly listed as a twin bedroom whereas it was a tiny studio with barely enough space for the beds. Harry Potter had more room under the stairs. Location is good in how central it is however the area was rough with drug dealers on every corner (for some this may be a pro). Very poor value compared to other places in Madrid.

This is a nice hotel in a great, central location that is close to metro and bus stations. The staff were all wonderful. Breakfast was very good and there was enough variety to keep it interesting for several days. There is a coin operated washer/dryer on the top floor that was very handy. There is also a self-service laundry down the street that looks like a good option if the hotel machine is being used. Our only issue was with the air conditioning. They have a central system that is either in heating or cooling mode as set by the hotel. We were on a high, hot floor and the hotel was set to heating mode. Opening the balcony doors did little to cool the bedroom behind a wall in the back of the apartment. We discovered this issue in the evening and called the number provided (the lobby is only staffed until around 6(?). We were initially told that we would have to wait until the next day for the hotel to switch to cooling mode. To their credit, when I told them we could not possibly sleep in the room, someone was sent to make the switch and things started to cool down a couple of hours later. Again, the staff were all excellent and helpful and the situation was handled well. However, you should be sure you can control the temperature in your room to your liking upon check-in to avoid a potential problem later.

We arrived quite late but the hotel was very accommodating and sent us the access codes prior to our arrival. It was very quiet in our room despite overlooking the street below. The little balcony was nice to hang out on. And the location was perfect! The room is very spacious, breakfast was great every morning. Definitely would stay at again and highly recommend!
