In the end our stay was acceptable but not better than that. My 3 stars is probably generous. I booked through Expedia and Weds was 50€, while Thurs was 100€ which seemed strange, but at 75€ for an average it was ok. There are several room types listed including one with a double or 2 twins and another with a queen or 2 twins. A double is too small for us so I intentionally chose the queen over that. A day before arrival we called to ask about parking. We were told our car was too big for their garage but parking was easily found nearby. When we arrived I was told that my message asking for 2 twins was received but couldn’t be responded to. We were given a double bed. I asked to change and even asked about paying for an upgrade (having forgotten that I specifically chose a queen). I was told if we did that we would have to move for the 2nd night. The hotel was supposedly sold out and apparently other arriving guests were more important. Meanwhile my husband went to find parking. He drove around for 20 minutes and eventually came back very frustrated. This happened the second night as well. During a sleepless night I contacted Expedia. They were apologetic and offered some $ compensation in the form of credit. I accepted. At 7:00am I asked a different front desk employee again about the room I had paid for. Again-no queen beds available. Ultimately I paid 50€ more for the junior suite for the 2nd night. I moved everything over in my PJs at 7:30am. It was better but had a very strange jacuzzi tub/shower combo with no curtain so bathing was awkward. The bed was very nice and was a king. The staff were friendly and pleasant and I doubt that those individuals were personally responsible for my discomfort, but in the end I didn’t get what I had paid for and had to spend $55 more for comfort. After reading other negative reviews I wish I had been more discerning in my decision to stay here.

Its a very lovely hotel & very friendly & helpful staff despite language barrier they attempted to help us as much as they could with the help of google translate i have found this a pleasant experience for my first time in spain

Warm, powerful shower, clean, fast wifi and great roof terrace. Really great place to stay, perfectly located with a regular bus into the centre dropping you off right outside the hotel. Wifi is very fast and perfect for remote working. (between 15mb - 40mb) Resturant next door is good also, and there are plenty of other restaurants very close.

1. Only one staff member designated for check in, check out, parking and all other matters. Over 15 minutes wait just for him to tell us where to park. 2. Parking space provided is extremely narrow and can easily damage car, maneuvering and elevator is time consuming, not accessible without staff help (narrower than any other hotel parking place we stayed at in Spain). 3. Extremely rude staff member that speaks in Spanish to other guest about us (told us he was speaking to them now, but they told us later he was speaking about us), refers only to the male member of the party, threatens to call police when asked for contact information for complaint, and when asked to speak to the manager (As he suggested) handed over the phone to a non-English speaking manager and wouldn’t translate. 4. Cancellation took long, about 15-20 minutes, and seemed to have been prolonged in spite.

Nothing special - I would not rate it a 4-star hotel. However, dinner and breakfast were nice and we felt very welcome. Rooms are basic and parking is slightly complicated. Good bus connection to Granada (every 20 mins)
