We stayed for 2 nights. The room was small but enough for us. The WIFI didn't reach our room, and there was also no much GPS connection. The air conditioning was barely functioning.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostal Alfaro. The location is perfect: walking distance to all the museums, the shopping district and surrounded by a great range of bars and restaurants. My single room was great and the staff were very helpful.

This is more than what I expected in a very good way. Interiors are pristine and the cleanliness and affordability is impeccable.

Friendly staff. Clean! Great location. The only issue might be some revelers coming back to their rooms in early in the morning and being loud. But there isn’t much anybody can do about that. The location is right in the middle of it. We would come back again.

Hostal Alfaro is a good option if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Central Madrid. The owners/managers are really respectful to guests, and the space was nice and quiet inside. It's a 10 - 15 minute walk from the Museo del prado, the central bank and other tourist attractions. It's also easy to get a taxi or bus if you want to as there is a main road very close by. It's a great place to stay if you're looking for a night out as there are many clubs and bars that are walking distance from the hotel. That is, as long as you don't disturb other guests when you're back
