Super hotel for the position! Nearby you have most of the attractions within a walkable distance, easily reachable from the airport through the metro and the neighborhood of Chueca super cute and safe!

Be aware of this place. We got scammed.
We paid 130 Euros a night here, and the place was pretty dodgy.
As soon as we set our foot here, we ran to find a new hotel.
This is not worth 130 euros a night. There is no way!
We asked for at least a 50% refund, but they refurefused.

Pros: Clean room. Bathroom with a bathtub. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Staff at check-in was really nice and helpful (Mr Israel). Central location. Near the Gran Via and Tribunal metro stations. Near Gran Via shopping district.
Cons: As the receptionist double hats in running the operations, he may not be able to attend to the door quickly (need to be buzzed in to be able to enter the establishment). You can hear whoever walks in the corridor as the floors are wooden. I can also hear the conversation of my next door neighbour from the bathroom (thin walls).
But overall, I was happy with my stay and would recommend this property.

I called super early from the airport after realizing I’d have to go to USA Embassy next Monday morning. They had just one room for that day which they separated until I got there cause my card had already been blocked at Spain and my bank back home was closed. Not only that, but since I had to wait for quite a few hours more for that room to be ready for me, when the host got noticed of a cancellation she accommodated me on it with no extra charge.
You’ve no idea how much that meant for me.

The Hostal is hidden away but easy to find. It is well situated; close to Gran Via, Chueca and the other city center attraction.
The room was small but very clean and comfortable; good value for the money.
Check in was easy and I was allowed my room early.
My only criticism would be for the inconsiderate people who arrived in the early hours and woke everyone up with loud voices; the walls were quite thin and it was possible to hear much of what happened in other rooms.
