Nestled in the heart of Madrid, the Emperador Hotel is lauded for its prime location, with guests appreciating the short walks to numerous attractions, eateries, and shops. Super friendly service, and a very nice location. The walls are thin, and you can hear everything. It was very difficult to sleep. Small room, small TV, and very thin shower curtain. But, excellent water pressure in the shower.

The location is excellent. The room has many amenities. There is a great view from a restaurant on the roof top. The room was not clean. Found hairs on bed sheets. The bathroom had dirty towels.

Beautiful hotel and rooftop. We had a terrace room facing gran via. Beds were comfy, front desk staff was polite and helpful hailing a taxi for us. Only negative was our room was below the rooftop bar and you could hear the bar upstairs.

DO NOT book this hotel! Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel anywhere in the world. From the rude front desk service, to being given the wrong room, we paid for a triple, but they argued and gave us a double, and then when we were given the correct room that we booked (the triple) Francisco , rude from the start, put us right next to the loudest construction in the hotel . It was deafening. We asked to be moved and were told that the hotel was pretty full so they gave us another room a floor below, but the construction was then right next to us. We moved again but the construction was still going on in another room next to us. They kept putting us in the same section of the hotel where the construction was going on. How they can even put people into rooms next to a sledge hammer doing demo, that went from 9:30 am - 6:00pm, non stop, is beyond me. And the rooms are dirty, and old. We saw three of them! Carpet is stained, the disgusting stuff on the walls… if my husband had not been feeling under the weather, we would have moved to another hotel. This place is not even a one star. There are plenty of hotels in the same vicinity. Don’t bother to book here. You’ll be extremely disappointed.
