We did a 18 days trip to Spain. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in for about the same price. Persons at front desk really friendly, excellent room and a very good breakfast buffet. They have a garage and is walking distance from the cathedral, theatre and other city attractions. I highly recommend it.

Location of this hotel is prime. So many restaurants, bars, and shops. There is no gym at this hotel. The rooms were older & not very soundproof but very clean. We couldn’t turn the a/c on and if you opened the windows, it was extremely noisy as the hotel is located on a main road.

I recently booked a 3-night stay at the NH Hotel in Ciudad Real and would like to share my experience. From the outside, the hotel presents itself well, and the lobby has a pleasing ambiance. The size of the room was satisfactory, but the bathroom's condition significantly marred the overall impression. Mold in the bathtub corners and shower screen, as well as swollen wood at the transition from the door frame to the floor, are not acceptable for a 4-star hotel. The room's view was also disappointing, only revealing deteriorating plaster from other parts of the building. The elevator was functional but showed clear signs of wear and age. Particularly alarming was the condition of the underground parking, which was in dire straits. Despite these shortcomings, I want to highlight the friendly staff, who were always eager to make the stay pleasant. For a 4-star hotel, my expectations were higher. Based on my experience, I'd argue that 2 stars would be more justified. Due to the bathroom situation, I decided to stay just 2 of the 3 booked nights. I hope the hotel addresses these issues in the future to meet the 4-star standard truly.

Bed was ok, but on wheels - so kept shifting when leaning to the wall Misleading are the photos on the website of the hotel; I expect modern/up to date interior- but was very very outdated. Even thought there are two type of photos on the website, it is not clear which ones correspond to which type of booking and this difference should be much clearer on the website.
