Overall, great experience.
The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We mentioned it was our anniversary and they left us a sweet note with goodies, which was very kind and generous.
The room was not big, but comfortable with everything we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we slept well.
Given that we booked a superior room, we had higher expectations. The entrance was through the residential building next door and to get to our room we had to pass by, what looked like the service section of the building, which was a little odd. We also had a very spacious terrace on the top floor with a seating area but the terrace walls were so high that we couldn't really see the view, which was disappointing.

You can’t get a better location for the same price! It is right across the famous primark, it is basically on the Gran Via avenue.
The reception is very cute, and always had an amazing smell throughout our stay. Another thing that we liked is that the main door has to be authorized inside to open, giving us a better sense of security.
The staff is very sweet, always with a smile and ready to help, they even gave us sweats and goods as a thank you for staying.
The room was very big and REALLY clean. The bed was super comfortable, and we had plenty of natural light inside. The shower was also very good, although I advise you to bring a hair dryer (it takes very long)
The breakfast was very complete, with fresh warm bread each morning.
Overall our experience was very positive, leaving us with no bad things to say. I wouldn’t rate it a 3star hotel!

This hotel has sewage or sulfur smell that comes and goes through out the day. The breakfast was great. The location I would stay closer to Plaza Mayor personally for next time, it’s a good 15-20 minute power walk away. The shower has mold growing.

It's well situated in the heart of Madrid and on our recent holiday there we were able to walk to many fantastic places and historical sites. Great staff with good English who made our stay even better (a big thank you to Joel on the front desk in particular). Awesome breakfast buffet too! I recommend this hotel - PJ from Sydney.

The Petit Palace Triball is a very clean hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a good breakfast for 12 euros a person. Our room was clean and comfortable but small. The location, just a few feet from Gran Via, is excellent. I would give the hotel a 5 rating, but I think it’s a bit overpriced.
