This is an excellent luxury hotel! The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. A big plus is the free charger in the paid parking garage, which is very convenient for electric vehicle owners. The location is perfect, close to many attractions. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Highly recommend staying here!

A good 5 ⭐️ star hotel. The rooms are clean, and the hotel grounds are also clean. There are three outdoor pools and one indoor pool. As for me, there is nothing to do here. But if you want peace and quiet, I recommend this hotel))

The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help. The room was fancy, clean, and the overall environment was fantastic. There were multiple pools, both indoors and outdoors, all spotless and inviting. There were several restaurants and bars to choose from. It’s a perfect place for chilling and relaxing. The only downsides were that getting there by public transportation was difficult and there was a lack of entertainment options. Other than that, highly recommended!

Well, now theres a hotel to remember. Fabulous inside and outside pools (yes pools!). Breakfast is a buffet affair, with a great choice from across europe. A lot of rooms have sea view rooms with balconies which are nice and secluded. I personally wouldn't be here at high season, as think it would be far to busy - l'm here in october so its quiet. it is a substantial hotel, Its well thought out and wonderfully airy, light and spacious. Its a taxi ride to anywhere, but as its so nice that isn't a biggy.

We have just had the most relaxing and enjoyable week stay at the SH Villa Gadea. The staff are professional, multi-lingual, efficient, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They work very long hours, but always with a smile on their faces. It can't be an easy job (we witnessed some rudeness from other guests which was really disappointing....it's not difficult to be polite), but they are fabulous, each and every one of them. The hotel itself is very well laid out with several restaurants to choose from and the pool area is the real attraction. Three pools, a swim up pool bar, food truck, heladeria and another restaurant. There are plenty of sunbeds, we never had to seek one out, and the area is clean and inviting. The way the pool area is set out is clever as it gives you the option of the pool bar end (sloping pool so you can sit and enjoy your drink, music from the bar) or be at the quieter end (great pool for kids as it has a shallow end), or somewhere in the middle! There is also easy access to the beach from the pool area although be aware that this is not a sandy beach. We had breakfast included so can't speak to the evening meal but we always enjoyed the food we ate. It was fresh, varied, with lots of options to match any preferences. We ate out most evenings at one of the lovely local bars and restaurants within 10mins walk. We highly recommend all of them, so check Google maps. Altea itself is about a 30min brisk walk; it's quite flat but is a trek if it's hot! The tram wasn't operating when we stayed but this would be a good option. Alternatively we also got a cab into the old town and it was about 10euros. Overall we are just sad we couldn't stay longer but we will certainly be back. Muchos gracias to all at Villa Gadea ❤️
