Our guide took us here for lunch before our elephant safari and we were the only guests. We had the most delicious "home cooked" meal and they ensured there was no garlic in my wife's meal due to a severe allergy. We had a great mix of chicken and vegetarian dishes and this was the first place we tried buffalo curd & treacle - absolutely fantastic and something my wife looked for during the rest of our trip. Highly recommend lunch here !

Our guide stopped by here for lunch. The people were so lovely - the food was excellent authentic Sri Lankan - all distinct and fresh. Most of the ingredients grown on site. We actually passed a tray of chilli's drying in the sun on the way in. Really nice experience and worth a stop

We arrived to this place close to 10pm. Only 2 tables where occupied. We read good comments in TA and there were no much options at this hour anyway.
Nice hosting.
The issue is that I am intolerant to gluten and my friend is vengan (no meat, milk, eggs, honey and any thing from animals kingdom).
As we were with a private guide escorting our trip he could explain it to staff and so they did!
The dinner was very good and fairly $.
The place is quite clean with nice garden.

Delicious food. Almost like home made food.. no added MSG flavors. The garlic seasoning in the prawn dish exult all the taste buds . . Staff was friendly too ...

Good place with good service. Still only two rooms but star class quality. Good food and the Elephant safari at Minneriya was a memorable.
