Uga Jungle Beach is probably the best resort I've ever been to. The service is top notch. It's a beautiful resort with minimal disruption to the surrounding jungle. We truly felt as if we were living in a jungle. The adjoining beach has black sand which is a very interesting change. I've been to this resort 6 years back, and even at that time it was wonderful. The beach was pristine 6 years back, but now there's quite a bit of pollution. The hotel maintains a fairly large area of beach free of litter. I have to make a special note about the food which was absolutely divine. There's a separate menu for the kids. They went out of the way to make creative dishes for a co traveller who had multiple food allergies. Dishes were varied and so so good. They have different flavours of homemade ice cream every day which are probably the best I've ever eaten. A few of my favourite flavours are avocado, cardamom, coconut, blueberry and passion fruit. The service was very very personal and we were very well taken care of.

I had an amazing experience at this property! The beach view was absolutely stunning, offering a serene and calm atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The beach itself was peaceful and ideal for unwinding while enjoying nature's beauty. The staff truly enhanced the experience with their friendly and accommodating demeanor, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway with exceptional service, this is the place to be! Highly recommend.

Stayed with 12 family members in different cabanas. Staying in the jungle whilst right next to the beach was a great experience and the service was absolutely fantastic. I cannot stress how attentive the staff were to my family’s every need! Fresh juice on arrival and for every meal. 5 course set menu was delicious but in my opinion needs updating and a bit more cohesion. The hotel itself is very beautiful, I feel very lucky to of had this experience

We stayed there for two nights with our 8-month-old daughter, and it was truly an amazing experience. The location is stunning and offers a unique concept. The staff, from reception to the restaurant, pool, and room service, were exceptional—always friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and they even delivered dinner to our room since we couldn’t dine out with our little one. We highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again!

We stayed in Uga Jungle beach in December. We had a wonderful time and what made the experience memorable was the staff, they really do care about customer satisfaction, we had a small issue with the AC and the manager was on it straight away. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and situated on a private beach. As we were there in December it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was scrumptious, soo much choice and the quality was outstanding. The staff that served us both for breakfast and dinner were so attentive and we never had to call them for anything as they constantly checked up if everything was OK. Looking forward to trying one of their other locations when we are back in Sri lanka next.
