Suranji and Aruna have been so kind to us and our toddler, they made us feel at home, preparing special meals for him. The place is a bit far from Kandy, in a quiet area, with lovely views. Curtains do not shield you from the sun, so if you are light sensitive, you might wake up at 6 am.

We had been as a family of 5 and must say the room was very spacious for a big family to stay in. The view from the balcony Is beautiful .. The hospitality given by the owners was great.. The couple is very caring and friendly. They took extra care in asking if we needed anything. The breakfast which we had opted in our package was delicious, specially the fresh avocado juice.. Our stay in a new country and place was delightful 😊.. Thanks to the host... .

Villa arunalu is a great place to make your stay memorable with the fascinating location. Rooms were comfy and staff was friendly. Food was delicious and highly recommend.

This is a home run business by a couple. Must say, they are very friendly and helpful. But value for money ratio from our point of view was very low. Event though their rating is pretty much high compared to others in Kandy i found that during my stay it did not meet my expectations originated by looking at the property pictures. During my time of visit the river was dry (Not their fault), so it was the most vital for the scenery they are trying to market. We stayed in a double room which was very small in size and very small bathroom equipped a bath tub which was occupying 60% of the bathroom area, every time you want to have a wash or shower you will have to jump in to this tub. As bath area is very small any spill tends to flow into the room, so we had to be extra cautious about that. No full time chef was working there so apart from the main meal plans no other dishes was available throughout the day. We had to order online from retaurants near by or pick up ourselves. Villa's food items on the menu were ridiculously expensive. No television was available to watch a movie or something when the scenery was not that breathtaking for us. Obviously no space for a TV to accommodate in the room. No other activities to do in the property like having a swim (No swimming pool), etc.. This was our experience at this property. I have been to places like Bellwoods in Kandy compared to them and their facilities and prices, this place was nowhere near to them as far as our ultimate customer satisfaction concerned.
