You stay in the smallest room imaginable in what appears to be former stable rooms. Good luck finding staff. Don't try to wash your hair in the shower as it's so small you can't get your arms to your head. Weird smell in the stable/room. Breakfast was fine, but half the dishes were empty both mornings. There is an epic karaoke room though...that was super fun

AC didn’t work, and there are no laundry facilities for guests, but I’m finding that’s a problem in the entire country of Sweden! Asked three different people for towels, and finally had to follow the third person to get them.

The best hotel ever

Nice area with the old castle in the middle. But far from the center of Stockholm.

I arrived about 11pm at the hotel. There was no clear sign for reception or any evidence of staff and there appeared to be a wedding reception type event on in the orangery. I went to the courtyard area, thinking that must be where reception is. I spent about 10 minutes trying different doors, feeling frazzled after my flight. I ended up phoning the hotel and asking how I get to reception, which did turn out to be back at the orangery area. The staff seemed to be laughing at me and made no attempt to then show me back to where my room was, back at the courtyard, other than to hand me a badly printed photocopy of a map. It was now 11.30pm at night. My room number was 128 but this room is not shown on any of the outside entry points to the courtyard buildings. The was a 19-127 door so I tried this on the off chance. I eventually found my room tucked away in a corner and it did indeed have its own entrance, which is not marked. Then the room! Hideous. Who wants a toilet behind their bed with a clear glass partition between the toilet and the main bedroom?? Toilet was also broken so filled up for 1 hour + after flushing. Lampshade by the bed was broken, 2 of the blinds were broken and the curtains wouldn't close to cover the broken blind window so the sun woke me at 0330 sun rise... And then there was the room and corridor heat. It is suffocating. The radiators were off but the room was about 30 degrees. I had to have 3 windows open which meant I could hear noise.

We had a bit of an effort to find the hotel. GPS put us nearby (at a traffic circle with six exits). I was considering calling the hotel and asking them to send up a flare, however we asked someone at the gas station and found the hotel. (hint - take the darkest exit from the circle [where the train runs] go one block and take first left and another left shortly thereafter. The hotel is quite nice. It was built in the 1600's. It is a charming place. Do not miss seeing the garden plots behind the hotel. The room was fine. There is a nice bar and lounge. Included Breakfast was great. (Had dinner at the Thai restaurant nearby - was good.) They advertise 20K to the airport when it is actually 40K. We arrived late at night and were shown to the room which is in a separate building. We each had a big roller bag but my wife was not offered assistance. Overall there is good value and a welcomed change from the cookie cutter mid priced hotels.

Lovely, peaceful castle hotel. Recommended if you have a car to access town. It seems like an ideal place for meetings and events for small to medium sized groups.

Ok if you are staying in a suite

Hard to find, but good place to stay

This hotel was the perfect place to stay and take the train into visit Stockholm. We were totally comfortable in our room. Breakfast was delicious and peaceful. The hotel itself and grounds were very unique and interesting. The common areas of the hotel were lovely to relax in. Coffee and tea were available all day, which was excellent.

The hotel is quite a walking distance from public transport, no shuttle busses and as the taxis are not regulated, they can charge whatever the like. Wifi only worked in the lobby and not as stated in the rooms also. Overall the Hotel was nice, the rooms are all individually designed and clean, the breakfast selection good, just too far away from everything.

Ett underbart ställe mysig miljö, mycket trevlig personal. Rummet var mysigt sängen jätteskön. Mycket trevlig miljö för våra 2 hundar som var med på resan, dom ger hotellet 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾. Vi åter kommer gärna igen.

Hesselby slott är fint och trevligt. Dock saknades spegel i rummet och badrumsspegeln har dålig belysning. Sängen är enligt min smak för mjuk. Vi bodde i orkestern. Bättre standard uppe på slottet. Receptionen och Orangeriet är alltid toppen, härlig frukost och trevlig personal, fint julpyntat.

Room was really small which makes it difficult to move in when couple offer small belongings are placed on the floor. But mostly, i did not like the fact that it shows totally different pictures on hotel.com while making the booking. I just chose the room by looking at the picture but was not impressed when entered the room Cox it was booked for some special occasion. Location wise best place to stay in summer if one chose the right room type.

Fantastiskt trevligt hotel med parkering i Stockholm. Supertrevlig personal och jättegod mat i en fantastisk miljö. Här ska jag bo i fortsättningen när jag kommer till Stockholm

Vi hade en härlig dag med hundarna. Julmarknad på dagen o Disneykväll o quist vid middagen. Rummet var mycket fint. Toppen!

Vi bestämde oss för att ta en hotellnatt för att komma ifrån vardagen och bara ha det mysigt tillsammans. Upplevelsen blev verkligen fantastisk, mycket tack vare er otroligt duktiga medarbetare Manolo som gav oss förstklassig service i baren. Han bidrog verkligen till att göra vår kväll minnesvärd. Stort tack för en oförglömlig vistelse!

Bra bemötande trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra frukost. Tog ett kvällsbad men när badvattnet tappades ut visade det sig att golvbrunnen som var innbygd under badkaret var igensatt så allt översvämmade golvet och även in i sov rummet. Vi fick ett nytt rum. Har bott här många gånger och tv är alltid helt kass knappt någon bild hur svårt ska det vara och fixa riktig tv. Med tanke på allt detta är priserna för höga.

Rummen långt ifrån bilderna. Rum i en byggnad som kändes som skolbyggnad/ Barack trodde vi bokat ett slottsrum. Mörka möbler, svart svart - skräckrum som dottern sa. Vi var två vuxna men endast en duschhandduk och vanlig handduk fanns. Endast ett vägguttag. Schampoo/duschtvål satt inte fast, lossande från väggen. Tv:n flinmrade… Ljus lös in under dörren, allt hördes in från korridoren. Frukosten var riktigt dålig, väldigt dåligt utbud. Som glutenfri fanns två brödalternativ och sen var det inte mer. Inga flingor, Inte ens en liten kaka. Endast naturell yoghurt. Ingen sylt. Kaffekopparna trasiga.

Small room, no service, no refrigerator, noisy, breakfast was awful, no coffee machine or espresso, very poor quality breakfast, very rude stuff working on kitchen, 5 min before 09:00 he kicked gusts out, breakfast time was from 07:00 to 09:00, no safety boxes in rooms, air conditioning defect, after 23:00 if you need help no body was in hotel and you have to wait until tomorrow. NO RECOMMEND this hotel at all
