Had a great time here!! We did the biking package and we're able to do a lot of biking around the area and see a few of the towns. Food and service were great, and our suite had an amazing view of the lake from the balcony. Highly recommend!

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Our room was acceptable yet somewhat old-fashioned and lacking an airco. Bathroom was totally outdated. We were happy though not to be assigned a room in the other building in front of the hotel as these rooms looked even much worse. Rather a bad social appartment than a hotel. Breakfast was basic. Strange that you have to clean your table yourself. We had the fixed menu in the restaurant one time but whereas they create the impression you Will get a michelin star menu with several courses, some courses were really an appetizer rather than a course. Food was not gastronomic at all. The sorbet was of very bad quality (hard as a rock, too much frozen) and the menu overpriced (about 80 euro per person without drinks). One glass of wine was charged 250 SEK (about 22 EUR). Service not in line with the price tag.

Located in beautiful Värmland this place is worth a visit. I would highlight the delicious food and especially the polite and friendly staff that work here.

It was an amazing experience to be here and the view of the lake is astonashing. I enjoyed it because the wedding that I attended was superb. I will always remember these days and the staff were nice people. I also have to mention the waitress Cornellia because she is a very professional and nice worker.

Didn’t think the country side would be the home to such a great chef’s table experience. First 5 pictures: Plate 1: Smoked Perch. Plate 2: Sorbet. Plate 3: Veal Filet with Potato Croquettes. Plate 4: Cottage Cheese and Cowleek on a Cheese Flarn. Plate 5: Nettle Ice Cream on a Sugar Cookie. All of these plates locally sourced. Really cool, yummy, and pretty. The staff was really sweet and kind. And also some were quite funny :). It is a pricey adventure but a happy and tasty one. You can save some money by skipping the wine package. The parings were ok but that is hard to do. I’ve only had 1 chef’s table style meal where the wine matched exactly. I’d say 2 out of 4 wine pairings were great. The rest was just good wine with good food. Maybe a nice pairing anyway? Haha. Yeah, if you have the money and enjoy these types of experiences, don’t over think it - just go and enjoy it! It was great from my point of view.
