This is a great clean modern hotel walking distance to the train station. The staff was GREAT! I highly recommend and will stay there when i return to Winterthur.

Great place for a family.
The room was clear and large.
The staff was friendly.
The railway next to the hotel, so the noise is too loud when you opened the window.

Great hotel for a 2 night business trip. Close to the train station for easy travel requirements to and from the airport. Room was good, breakfast choice was good. The gym is next door and is very well equipped, however it is an additional ~20CHF if you don't have one of the premium rooms.

Our family room was huge and also spacious bathroom, had AC which is rear in Switzerland. Fan was also provided. Nice breakfast offering. 5 minutes close to train station. 8 minutes to eating and grocery shopping which is right on the train station

Very good hotel in Winterthur: very kind and helpful staff. The room I stayed in was very spacious and clean, with a sober and modern decor. Breakfast was also very varied and pretty good. The location is also good, being few minutes walking from Winterthur station.

Initially unhappy as we had booked a room with a double and two singles, but instead of the singles had a sofa bed and rollaway bed. However staff were helpful and replaced the rollaway with a proper bed from another room which was much more comfortable. Good location close to train station and short journey to Zurich from there. Breakfast was excellent, very good choice and all delicious.

The hotel location and condition of the room was good but the room had no air conditioning just a fan, I guess this will be ok in winter but in the summer at 90 degrees is brutal, make sure that when booking a room at this hotel it has a/c since is not specified in the description, also hotel is located behind the train yard so it gets real loud with the windows open...

The best stay we had in last 20 days of the trip in Europe. We had stay in London and we paid over $800 a night and a hotel was great, but compared to what we paid for both the location Hotel banana city was the best for the money. It is worth every penny we spend on the room. Very clean Hotel and room, great service, breakfast was really good better than any other hotels. If only thing I have to recommend would be portable air condition. So that any guests who have any condition because of heat they can be accommodated. Other than that I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to be staying in Zurich Switzerland.
