I am European from New Zealand. The room in the log cabin was not clean. I woke up with bite marks on my legs from insects. The food in the restaurant is not very good. There is coffee, but no tea. Breakfast food was quite bad. I could only eat bread rolls and drink coffee. There was juice also, but I didn't trust the quality. The scenery is unique and beautiful, good walking tracks and fresh cool air.

Food in the hotel is below average and you don't have choice at all. Those set meals are over priced without much service at all. But they have a good hiking trails .

Hotel is situated in beautiful private park up in mountain surrounded by blooming cherry blossoms and several water features. Very short walk or bus ride to several easy to moderate well maintained walking and hiking trails with great views when the fog absent. Hotel rooms are a little dated but overall the facilities are excellent and buffet has enough selection even for picky eaters. Drive there is not for the faint of heart, lots of sharp switchbacks in a dense fog, so drive carefully.

After a hard mountain climbing from A-Li san to San-Lin-Si, I arrived this hotel to enjoy a cup of good coffee and delicious cake. I really think this place gives me a very nice to rest. The atmosphere is clean and peaceful, the food is warm and tasted. I really recommend to stay at least one night here because all area is surrounded by wood which gives you good air and completely relaxed.

Great place to relax, and hike through the mountains. Cleaned up nicely with easy hiking trails. Also, there is a shuttle that you can take for $40/person, if you want to head straight up to the sights, or in our case, too tired to hike our way back!
