The place has a very scenic and infinite view of Lake Manyara. The property is well managed and clean.

Outstanding view from the lodge top, overlooking the forest. One could hear animal sounds at night. Even heard an elephant grunt, late evening. Nice ambience , mesmerizing. Would like to visit again. Too good. Food was also nice.

Beautiful hotel. Very peaceful. If you love chilly mountain climate, it's the perfect getaway. It's also right in the wildlife resort. You can catch herds of elephants on the drive to and from the hotel around the Great Rift Valley viewpoint.
The food was also amazing! Especially the desserts.
Only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is
1. You can only get Wi-Fi at reception and other public areas. Not in your room. Unacceptable!
2. The plumbing badly needs updating. My shower was leaky and the water pressure too low.

Rooms were good, showers were a bit weak, had to be right next to the wall to get a shower. Views of the surrounding lake is good where you can sit by the bar and soak in the views. Buffet meals were basic and a bit sparse, maybe because it was the shoulder season.

Avoid this hotel!!! The housekeeper stole $100 from us! The water pressure is very low. Food is awful. Room is very old!
