Great place, clean, friendly and staff were all amazing. I have stayed at higher rated hotels and had worse service so book this place as I would if I ever return to Koh Chang. I’d advise to book a deluxe double with balcony overlooking the pool and not any at hillside unless you’re on a tighter budget. We stayed room 409 and to note Wi-Fi box was right outside so perfect throughout stay.

We had originally booked two nights at the Awa Resort which proved to be a disaster. We moved the next morning to Cookies Hotel and found it to have a far superior beach and far superior management. Cookies Hotel is surrounded by outstanding restaurants all within easy walking distance. The same cannot be said about Awa Resort and dinner at their on site restaurant was a huge disappointment. Cookies is not a luxurious hotel but they will treat you as a valued guest; Awa Resort will not.

Good general are, our room was located on the "other" side of the main road. We had cross the main road to get to the beach side part of the hotel where the reception is located, the poo and also the beach. Tried to upgrade our hotel, because our room was way to much on the tires side, but not success, we were told that there are no available rooms, yet we realized that one third of the hotel was indeed available.

We loved our stay at cookies as the beach and pool were awesome. Liked our room with balcony and the service very helpful. Location very good as had easy access to everything. The one poor point was internet connection which was hit or miss and tv reception poor , not that we watched tv at a wonderful spot as this. Otherwise would definitely go back to Cookies and a good Restuarant next door, Soul and Sand.

Location on the beach at the center of beach. Great pool overlooking the beach. Breakfast buffet good. Staff helpful and room kept clean. Cheaper rooms are for the annex across the road. Found this to be of little consequence. Would recommend if you can get a competitive price. Check other hotels nearby.

As we arrived they didn't have our reservation. The stuff was quite ignorant, they told that they see no reservation, and by this, they were going to finish the case. Though we paid for 9 nights. (and came one day later). As we pressed on them, they told, they must call and wait the manager. The manager came, and was very helpful and polite, and not ignorant at all. All was found and solved in 10 minutes. (the webpage didn't sent the reservation email to the hotel) We have got our room. From this point all was excellent. The place, the service, the comfort. Only the aircon was a little ill, something was wrong with the thermostat, in case you set 23-25°C then it was cold, if you set 27°C, then there was no cooling at all. But we could manage it. All in all, we would be happy to return.

Hotellet ligger på stranden, i alla fall den delen av hotellet som har havs/poolutsikt. Poolen är fräsch och det är ett trevligt poolområde. Rummen är helt okej, något slitna men alltid välstädat. Saftybox, kylskåp (med vattenflaskor) och hårfön finns på rummet. Reception är alltid bemannad. Frukost serveras tvärs över gatan. Det serveras vitt bröd att rosta, marmelad, stekt ägg eller omelett, melon/ananas, ett flertal thailändska maträtter, kaffe/varm choklad och två olika sorters juice. På gatan utanför finns det ett flertal 7 Eleven butiker och många matställen. Musik från barer/restauranger hörs in på rummet fram till cirka 01:00, men med öronproppar gick det fint att sova.
