I really liked the demeanour and friendliness of all the staff. The rooms are comfortable and the location is conveniently close to stores and restaurants. I've stayed at 3 other hotels in Bellingham within the last 4 weeks and the Baymont is my favourite.

Check in was easy. Man at the front desk, very helpful. Just a quick sleep over on our way through town. I was very pleased with the cleanliness.
Also i left a beer in the fridge!!! Lucky cleaner

Look if you are staying here because you have business to attend or are on your way somewhere else, it’s perfect.
Is this the Fairmont? No. There were some sketchy people outside loitering… but I mean, the rest was as is. Nothing fancy, clean and works.

Convenient place to stay for shopping but that was it. Our room did not look like the pictures online. We had old green carpet, round pink toilet with an oval seat. The towel bar was falling out the wall and there was long black hair all over the bathroom. Coffee (or something brown) was spilt down the wall and dried up. The beds had no support. You sunk down inches. Our door going into our room even had black marks.

I had phoned before booking this property to check on the food options for the continental breakfast. I was told that the food options included make your own waffles, sausage or bacon along with many other items which was what is also depicted in the pictures on their website. When we went down for breakfast, the breakfast had less than half the items promised. Dry bread for toast, packaged instant oatmeal, two options of dry cereal, yogurt, prepackaged waffles to pop in a toaster, packaged cookies, prepackaged breakfast sandwiches and fruit cups were the options the first morning, fewer options the on second morning of our stay. Not once did we see anyone replenishing or checking the breakfast items. We also had problems with a very noisy bathroom fan, clogged bathroom sink, stained carpets, unvacuumed hallways, tv wouldn’t connect to wifi, broken glass behind our vehicle which we were told would be cleaned up but never was. Very disappointed as hotel is not as depicted in pictures or a described on website.

Good location but a very old hotel; paid for a more expensive room thinking it would be more updated (photos on site showed it with wood floor) but lots of carpet, wholes in the wall, and we did not stayed in the room that I paid for. Hopefully, I will get a refund.

Our complaint was the breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was really bad, had a funny taste and did not thaw as directed, microwaved it more and it was still.pretty bad. Butter was so hard I couldn't get it spread on my toast. No cream for the coffee. I tasted one of the packaged pastry things and it was pathetic also. I feltl sorry for the staff so did not voice my concerns to them. Bed was comfy, shower great and linen immaculate

I was so unhappy, I left after 30 minutes of being there. Creep vibe, old and dingy, just plain old gross. You would have never expected it by the pictures they share.

This was an average room in a budget motel. There were patched parts on the wall as if they were part way through painting. The fan in our room was a rattletrap. The breakfast room was bright and inviting, and had several options including yogurt and frozen breakfast sandwich croisssants to microwave, as well as cereal and toast and a couple more things. It was basic but filling. Besides coffee, the only hot breakfast was what you toasted or microwaved.

It was below average. The hotel and rooms look better online than they do in person. The "free breakfast" was garbage. Don't go if you're diabetic, you will starve. I won't stay here again.
