Love the Marriott! Stayed here a few times and we come back again.

The common areas were very homey and inviting. Staff was very laid back and friendly and most helpful. Valet picked us up from Airport and this was much appreciated.

I want to start by saying, the staff are very friendly and did all they could considering what they had on hand. This facility was awful for handicap guests. Requested a handicap accessible room in advance, hotel even acknowledged before me at check in. Placed me and my handicapped mother in a non accessible room initially. Then moved us to an accessible room after. However, we requested a two queen room and the new room was a one king bed, forcing us to share a bed on our trip. The "accessible room" we were given was also subpar. The shower still had a tub, but this room to their credit had bars for my mother to hold. There was also no mat for the shower to avoid falls. The toilet was low, even by normal room standards, forcing the hotel manager to strap on a lift to the toilet. This could all be avoided with a chair height toilet. Additionally, the path to the valet entrance was cobble stoned which was awful for my mother's scooter. (The front steps had stairs and no ramp.)There was a brick path, but the hotel parked cars along the non cobblestoned path forcing my mother on to the cobblestones. They also charged for valet despite my mother's handicap placard due to "no onsite parking" despite the cars blocking the pedestrian path to the hotel's valet entrance. The hotel manager was friendly and so was her staff. However, that's where the positive things end.

Room was comfortable and clean. All staff were exceptional! Valet in and out, checkin and check out and bistro operator were great! Would absolutely stay here in the future.

The person at the front desk didn't know how to process our reservation because we booked through Expedia. We were there for 2 nights and no one cleaned our room. You could hear EVERYTHING through the adjoining room door. I'll never stay there again.

Courtyard was absolutely one of the best hotels. From the Front desk, valet parking and other staff inside. The room was very clean! Bay area view. Close to restaurants, bars, the wharf.

Very conveniently located, quiet and well maintained. The staff was very responsive and friendly.

Quick 1 night stsy making this a great hotel choice. Close to restaurants and walking distance to many shops and night life. Need to seriously consider this hotel for your next visit to Portland, Maine.

Perfect in every way! We were greeted warmly and given a map as well as a printed list of restaurant recommendations by cuisine type with price ranges and addresses (she even pointed out some nearby favorites)! Such a nice touch! Truly felt welcomed here.Valet parking was quick and always had our car ready within minutes at various times of the day/night.When I requested some additional items, someone was at my door almost immediately! Super clean, everything seemed new. The room was big, beds/pillows comfortable - an end table with outlet, USB and lights on each side of both beds.Huge shower! Great view of the port from our room.An amazing location, just a short walk to the piers, tons of shops and restaurants. Absolutely recommend and will stay here any time I’m lucky enough to make it back to Portland!

It was a good location and nice and comfortable area.

All view! (with a parking lot in the way) The check in was simple. Room was clean and exactly as you would expect a Courtyard to look. The location was great. Just a tad off center of the "main drag"... with a view of the harbor over the top of a parking lot. Food was a quick half mile walk. Check in and check out were as expected again, for a courtyard. I'd stay there again.

Toilet didn’t work. Shower wouldn’t drain. Staff ran out of water.

The hotel is beautiful and the local is super convenient. My only wish is that the shower was nicer :) The water pressure was good, but the shower head was the simplest and didn’t match the overall feeling. Please invest in nicer showers?

Excellent location, staff was the best.

Property was clean, would have been nice to be told you needed room key for elevator and parking was additional charge. Some employees friendly, others not so much

Good place to relax after work

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the hotel! Despite the hotel being incredibly busy, Brandon went out of his way to pick us up with the shuttle, which we really appreciated. The entire team, without exception, was exceptional! We were particularly touched by the bartender who made a late-night bagel for our son when he was hungry. This truly went above and beyond our expectations! We loved being able to walk to all our favorite spots from the hotel - it made our stay even more enjoyable. We're already planning our return because this has become our new favorite hotel in Portland! The family-friendly atmosphere really made a difference for us.
