The hotel is nice, presentable & clean, checking in was fast. The room was nice & clean, bathroom also clean. The beds were comfortable, this was our 2nd time staying here, the place hasn’t changed, it remains a nice place to sleep.

Very pleasant location to stay in St. Augustine during the Christmas lights season. I did seem the front desk check in lady was less 'inviting' than we have come to expect over the years.

I booked a short stay, 3-4 nights, through Expedia.
Unfortunately, there was a death in my family that required us to cancel and travel out west. Expedia tried hard to get a refund, but Double Tree refused.

Walking distance to downtown historic st Augustine is the only thing this hotel really has going for it. The rooms are okay—not worth 450 a night. When checking in, I was double charged and if I didn’t catch it, it would have went unnoticed. The gentleman checking people in asked everyone else for a floor preference but me. There wasn’t any explanation on the overflow parking situation til we came in later after dinner and the lady up front was extremely helpful.
