It was great except they ran us for 100$ more on the credit card for incidentals then they said they would. Then they kept it. When we called and asked why they said because Expedia didn’t pay them. We used hotels.com so it was really weird. Still waiting for our money back.

The rooms are mini apartments, all eco-friendly with a small kitchen stacked with dishes, pots and what you need to cook your own meals. The free breakfast each morning includes a live chef freshly cooking your hot breakfast. In addition there are several other breakfast choices in various stations around the room. And they had almond butter and nutella as 2 of the spread choices...never seen that!! The bed was lucious and there 2 TVs (one in LR and one in BR. Now the bad news - the front desk staff, are a little less than sharp in the customer service, knowing how to properly navigate their jobs. My room was fully paid for and when I arrived, for no reason, took another $150 out of my account. They couldn't explain why - not even the manager on duty. I was budgeted this trim and had put that money aside to pay for uber rides, but suddenly it was swiped away, without authorization from me. There is no record that they took it and that I would get it back, so I filed a dispute with my bank who will refund the money if the hotel doesn't release it back. If it weren't for the incompetency at the front desk, my rating would be 5 stars...Watch your credit card and funds deducted with these folks!

The room and staff were great. Breakfast could maybe have a few more options. The walls are paper thin and the guest next to me was very obnoxious during late and early hours. Aside from that I would definitely stay again.

We stayed here over the weekend for a concert. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the bathrooms have been renovated and are pretty nice. I had no issues during my stay. The only thing I will say is if you are a light sleeper(I am not) the trains will keep you awake at night. You can hear the horns 24/7. Overall I would come back for the price!

The staff we encountered were fabulous. Check-in was friendly and easy, breakfast each day was fabulous thanks to George! Check out was simple and pleasant. Cannot wait to come back again. This will be my new “go-to” hotel in Kansas City.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The shower pressure, unfortunately, was very low. I did address this with the front desk and the gentleman seemed a bit off put. I offered to show him a video of it, which he declined and said it wasn’t necessary. However, he is have maintenance come up and work on it, but afterwards it was still less than ideal. Despite this hiccup, the hotel was excellent and worked out very well for our needs.

Paper thin walls. Moved rooms and had the same issue. Even the staff admitted it. Will never stay again.

We love coming here everytime, the staff are amazing and I love the bar. I will always rate 10 stars lol☺️
