Everglades City is an older, sleepy town, some things showing their age - a lot. But our hotel room was very modern, dare I say "hip" and was very comfortable. Had to negotiate steps to get to it; if you can't handle your suitcase on steps be sure to ck if they have other rooms. We didn't care. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a small kitchenette in our room. No breakfast but nearby "bait shop" (Nely's Corner) has awesome coffee and breakfast and welcoming staff. This was a one night stay for us on our way to a friend's, we were coming from Everglades NP. The hotel and the town seemed to be family and fisherman friendly. Would stay again.

What a pleasant surprise. Everglades City is off the beaten path. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of hotels. This property exceeded expectations. The staff was helpful and had excellent recommendations for places to dine.

This property has a large comfortable room in Everglades City. The staff was helpful in pointing out nearby dining which you can walk or drive to. It has an indoor pool and screened porch area. It is not the Taj Mahal, but there really isn't anything wrong with it.

We ordered 2 suites. The rental price was very reasonable. The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The suite had a full size fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There was lots of storage for clothes, extra blankets, and a convenient place to unload suitcases
