Hampton Inn Boston Seaport District

Really wanted to like this property but there were too many pros and cons. Let's start with the pros. The property is only a couple years old so it's basically new which is nice. They have a great complimentary breakfast (arrive early as it tends to get crowded). The staff were very nice and accommodating. There is also an indoor pool which is great with kids during winter travel. Now the cons. The beds aren't very comfortable, I would recommend bringing your pillows from home. The water from the sink has a very cloudy consistency and you have to let the water run a while for it to spot. The location is sort of a dessert, with all the good restaurants and shopping being a solid 15 minute walk. Overnight parking is horrible. You will spend half of what you paid for your room on parking and the garages in the area aren't any better. Overall I think it's a decent hotel for what we paid. But between location and cost of parking there are other better options in more desirable areas of Seaport.

The staff were all friendly. The lack of parking options were the only negative thing.

It was a beautiful stay at the hotel. It is not really close to anything except the seaport. I would’ve given it 5 stars but the valet parking situation was a bit rough. Nothing on the workers, just the hotel set up for it, look 45 minutes to get my car after I requested it.

The hotel is very clean and well manager, the staff were super friendly they can keep your delivery for a $10/day charge even before you arrive. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, much appreciated in a cold morning. The only No for us is the valet parking policy, it costs you USD $60/night . The nearby parking the hotel suggested costs you $35/more than 3 hours, but they charge each time you exit the lot (there is no daily pass available). So if you arrive at the hotel and plan to go out after you drop off the luggage, you might as well leave it with Valet parking (Yes I agree it is super pricy).

Great experience

We were greeted by Natalie, she was chipper and friendly.she noted she was leaving shortly after we checked in after I had asked when her shift ended, Delroy? Was also super friendly! Handsome, too. He was able to do deer another blanket, pillow and a toothbrush since we forgot one! It was brought right to our room very quickly!! The bed wasn’t super comfortable but it was okay enough for one night, the one awful thing was the blinking light from the smoke detector in the room! It was awwwwful!!! Breakfast was great. Very busy at 9am but the lines were fast moving, the fire burning was nice and provided warmth from the doors opening. The pool was good aside from crappy kids whose parents couldn’t be bothered to regulate their out of control behaviors. I appreciated the lounge chairs and our kids said the pool was very warm. I wish there had been a hot tub spa but also didn’t mind watching my kids have fun. All in all, I’d definitely come back here and recommend to a friend.

I was so impressed with this hotel. Especially for the price. Very clean, quiet and we felt very safe. There’s free breakfast. Parking is expensive, but it’s a city so I guess it’s expected. I would definitely stay here again.

Love the property. Not a fan of the way the breakfast set up is. The coffee station is very uncomfortable. The combination of the 2 hotels makes the breakfast very crowded.

Unfortunately not good service, I requested things and were not provided to me I needed to go down to pick them at counter, also no ice machine at floor you need to go to another level and no microwave at room you need to go to the lobby. People having party around 1:30am and front desk didn’t do anything. Was a total lost of money. Not good at Very bad weekend 😔.
