Beautiful room and views, was a little outdated. Our room had two bathrooms which was pretty awesome. Clean and comfortable. Good price as it was right before thanksgiving. Conveniently located.

We have been staying in South Lake Tahoe for decades and have rarely had a bad experience. This was my son's 21st birthday and it was a great time! The rooms at Harrahs were comfortable, spacious and had 2 bathrooms! A huge plus for both my son and his friend and my wife and myself. Highly recommend!

Had a hard time getting are room cleaned after we extended our stay. They told us we weren't on the list because they thought we checked out, meaning they don't clean the room when you check out.

One of the worst stays, will not return. The "upgraded" room was super old and didn't feel very clean. There were holes in bathroom walls and a crack in the ceiling by the shower. Both showers had problem with temperature adjustment.Poor air ventilation and smelled like smoke often, even though rooms are supposed to be non-smoking. Hot tub was "under construction" and they wouldn't offer anything in return. Overall very poor experience.

Ground floor accepts smokers. Hotel is run down, no renovation since a long time. They used to have great VIP lounge, which never reopened after Covid. For sauna, you have to go to Harvey's on the other side of the street.
Starbuck in the lobby, very expensive. The breakfast place - with very overpriced lousy food. At the end they will add $25 daily for the valet, and $30.72 for a resort fee. Couple good things - you can get 2 baths in 1 room with 2 beds. Service - mostly foreign, but very polite and responsive.

Requested a non smoking room but since we booked through a 3rd party we had a smoking room. Not happy at all about that.
They did try and clean the room with an air purifier but if you don’t smoke, you can still smell it.

Hotel staff was pleasant but the room and bathrooms were very well worn.
The casino (table staff) were hardly enthusiastic- very disappointed with lack of ‘energy’ especially considering the table minimums.
Steak house supposed to be premium- served choice not prime- cut $80.
Next morning my wife had same steak (smaller) with steak and egg breakfast for less than half that price.
Will not return- add on charges to reservation rate too!

Rooms need to be revamped, furniture is all scratched up, paint is peeling, doors and trim all scratched up. The gym at Harrahs had mixed matched dumbels and equipment just thrown in a room needs more space. We had 4 rooms and a group of 11 people and there was a lot of complaints.
I used to stay at Harrah’s when I was the a kid and it was always the nicest place in Tahoe. It did not have that feeling or charm any longer.
Besides rooms gambling was ok. Tables and slots were great, but my first experience with a Sports Book was a disaster! I went to place two bets with a friend and the teller was extremely flustered and miss placed a $100 then needed to recount his drawer twice, in which another person assisted and handled it. Then the following day when I cashed in my bet apparently it was flagged and then I was approached by someone in management (not the gaming floor manager) that deals with MMA or events. Who told me I cannot bet any longer and I’ve been flagged! I then told them what happened and wanted to speak to his boss and see the video because clearly he got sent over to deliver news he knew nothing about. This was super embarrassing in front of my friends and family and was not a great experience!
