Hotel AKA Back Bay

Beautiful Hotel with excellent accommodation. Staff was great.

Excellent property. Felt safe and convenient to many locations. I walked everywhere and it was easy to get to the park, coffee shops, and other locations.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to make our family experience memorable. Our room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which added to our comfort. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to various attractions and explore the city with our kids. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone!

The staff are incredibly friendly and overall, it’s a great hotel in a good location for dining, shopping, etc.

Let me start off by saying the staff here are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The best part of our stay! This is our second visit at AKA Back Bay. This time around didn’t wow me as much. My husband loved the coffee bar in the lobby (part of why I rebooked). However, now there’s just renovating going on. Yes, coffee makers are in the room, but who makes room coffee? For a $40 “resort” charge what did we get? We were so thirsty after walking the city and just wanted some water. The room had Voss at $10 a bottle! We ended up walking to a CVS and got 4 drinks for the same amount. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and never mind a resort fee if there are little touches that warrant it. Nothing here though. It was a chilly night so I ran a nice bath. Then discovered hair on the tub which was not mine. Lastly, be ready to pay $68 for valet, not counting tip in and out. I know it’s Boston, but most hotels around here are much less. The room was so reasonable, except by the time we were done all the extras really added up. I am not a cheap person and understand the value of location and cleanliness. However, there are so many options in this city, I will be choosing a different one next time. Staff…you rock still…best ever!

The customer service was outstanding, beautiful hotel and the staff is ready to tend to whatever happens and go above and beyond to make things right when they do. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we’re in Boston… Thanks Ryan Stephan

The valet parking fee was crazy, I parked in a lot nearby. The was a DESTINATION fee of $35.00 that I paid that didn’t make any sense.

Very cozy and clean hotel

Very clean, comfortable, and simple which is all we wanted for a weekend trip to Boston with our 4 year old. Staff were great and helpful. Valet parking is $68 a night and charged to the room. Our car was safe. It’s near the Arlington T stop (less than 10 min walk). Our 4 year old had an accident while sleeping even though we used bed pads and the housekeeping staff were gracious about it and didn’t make a big deal about it. I think I was making a bigger deal about it because I felt so bad. Really great location to lots of great restaurants too. (Unfortunately I can’t post more photos as this website is telling me they are invalid or exceed size limit even though they meet the requirements.)

Room temperature was in the 50s when we got there. And there was no soap or sundries. They brought them up right away after we called. And the coffee machine wasn’t working.

Great team, awesome property, excellent stay!

I’ve been staying here for years and I never leave disappointed. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive and professional. The recent renovations are very nice and comfortable as well, my son is a fan of the fitness center and my daughter’s a fan of the easy location for shopping lol. Great property, great team and an all around great spot.

I stayed in a platinum queen. Very much worth the upgrade. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was really lovely. You are in close walking distance to everything in Back Bay and the train station.

It was a very comfortable room and the service was great, however, the bathroom didn’t have its own heat and was a little cold. Also there was no hand soap in the bathroom.

AKA is always great, this is the first time I've stayed since the renovation and it was spectacular! They did a great job on the Reno and the staff is even more excellent than they were before.. Looking forward to our next stay!
