I was dismayed there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, but I called downstairs, and they brought me one right up! Leo in the bar was fabulous and the food was delicious. The grounds are just gorgeous.

I really enjoyed the overall experience at this hotel, and to be perfectly honest. The only reason I didn’t give an excellent was because the shower pressure is very low due to the desert areas, but having a rain showerhead didn’t help because it was like a trickle that’s the only reason this property didn’t get didn’t get an excellent from me.

I guess if you’re looking for a historic hotel then stay here. Otherwise there isn’t much that we found this hotel to offer. The bathrooms are extremely small and only one person can really be in there at a time. The bellhop just watched us take our suitcases out of the car and didn’t get up or bother to look up from his cellphone.

Picked the hotel as it was dog friendly (it was) and it had a bar & restaurant so that I would not have to leave. Nothing I saw ahead of time informed me that both were closed on Sunday and Mondays. I was forced to leave to eat and watch football. Room was clean, but dated with just ok tv options. Everyone one I met, however, was very friendly and pleasant to interact with.

This is an older hotel with fantastic Spanish architecture in the very large and sumptuous lobby. It also has a huge walled courtyard and pool which is very beatiful and unique. Would be a great place to hang out in warm weather, a little oasis in the city. Che kin qas great and the gave us a number to text if we needed anything. We wanted an extra suitcase rack and i texted and got an immediate response and someone brought it to our room about 10 minutes later. So great service. Rooms could use some updating, not many electrical outlets fir chargets. Plumbing was sorta geriatric, low water pressure and toulet kept running. Breakfast in the cafe was excellent. Overall very happy, would atay here again.
