La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Opelika Auburn

Its was a good stay, the front desk lady was super sweet and helpful..My only complaint is the shower was dirty

Everything was fine with our stay, but the walls were paper thin. We could hear TVs and laughter from both adjoining rooms.

Nice clean quiet room

The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, and the lobby is beautifully designed, creating a great first impression. However, my experience with the room left much to be desired. I stayed on the first floor in what felt like a very small space. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor was not as clean as expected, and the bed linen had an unpleasant odor, resembling sweat, which made me question whether it had been changed between guests. These issues overshadowed the otherwise nice aspects of the property.

We’ve found a hotel in the Opelika/Auburn Alabama’s area that we love! Everything is very clean, everyone is friendly. There’s a movie theater within walking distance, restaurants. And even a Texas Roadhouse.

Stay here when traveling to North Carolina, always a great stay.

There was a noticeable decline in quality since September. The room had maintenance issues that I had to resolve myself. Most staff encounters were nice and one was rude. I saw some staff standing around outside playing with their phones for more than an hour when there was plenty to do inside. Checking for a clean TV signal should be on the housekeeping checklist. The front desk staff should never be rude when a guest asks why the TV isn’t working. The front desk staff should NEVER lie about the TV system being out when it is not. This is laziness and unacceptable. Thankfully, one person told me to reverse the cords and the TV magically worked. I thanked her for doing her job correctly. Almost two days I had zero TV reception.

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and so much more….The hotel atmosphere was great including breakfast offering a variety of eating options. My room was very comfortable ie. bedding, view,cleanliness, love the walk-in shower. Staff upon entry and breakfast time was pleasant ….

I was charged twice. I was charged for someone else’s room and I had to get payment from that person because the hotel staff could not figure out how to refund my money so I will never stay at a La Quinta again I’m done with you guys.

We had a wonderful time antique shopping and enjoying time away. Super nice hotel, and extremely friendly stff.

Breakfast seating area is silly. The large center table has chairs that are way too low. When I sat in the chairs surrounding the large center table, the edge of table was at my collar bones!

Clean, breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired.
