This is the second time we’ve stayed there. And unfortunately, they have a major issue on the first floor that keeps creating a flood. So it’s kind of gross walking through that hallway with all the squishiness from the water because you don’t know what that water is. However staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean. The breakfast is great and The women who prepare it are lovely.

We slept well. The hotel was convenient to our activities. The carpet was wet but we were able to use the bed by the dry area. I also dated the lamps and TV while there. The biggest problem was the WiFi was not working well and I do depend on WiFi to make daily plans.

The room was filthy, the bathroom was dusty and out dated, breakfast was ok, the lady at the breakfast room was rude to a little kid, and that is not ok. The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I would try not to stay again here.

Hotel seems nice when you walk in.. but as you start going through it you’ll see tons of bubbles up wallpaper, dirty and stained carpets.. missing lights in the hallway. There was a bag of garbage that was left in the hallway from about 8p til this morning. The room STUNK like some kind of carpet refresh powder, stains on floor, bathroom tub looked dirty, walls look like they hadn’t been wiped down in ages and pink algae on the soap dishes in the corner. Ceiling had black mold on it, looks like they had replaced the mirror but left mismatched paint and holes in the wall. Fridge was about a foot away from the wall with a mound of dirt behind it.. the heater screeched most of the night… wouldn’t stay here again. Btw I did ask the front desk to look into the heater.. nothing was done because the settings where where I had left them.

Typical motel room, not much more or less……but not ice maker available for any guest…….difficult to understand since this is a 5 story building and there is an ice maker on each floor, but in this instance non were working……..no ice…….how is this possible ???

Our main concern is that anyone can walk in the building. During our 4 day stay there was a man who sat in the building where people enter their rooms and took letters and small bagged items and would take them wherever and come right back and sit in the same chair near the stairs. It was super sketchy and made us uncomfortable. Most hotels allow only those staying access however that is not the case here. That whole area reeked of pot. The doors to the elevator closed so quickly that we had to yank our little dog in before she got squished.

Normally I don’t complain but this time around the room was not cleaned , bathroom had a dirty tissue in the toilet. Trash , dirty ice bucket, dirty wash cloth in the hallway. Ice machine not working on more than 1 floor.

Subject: Concern Regarding Recent Stay Dear [Hotel Manager of La Quinta inn I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience my family and guests had at your hotel. I had arranged for them to stay at your establishment, but unfortunately, their experience fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, they encountered a significant issue with their room, as the bathroom emitted a strong sewage odor. When they inquired about switching rooms, they were informed that no alternatives were available. Moreover, there was a noticeable lack of empathy from the staff, with no apologies offered or potential solutions presented. Additionally, I was surprised to see that the front desk staff were dressed in casual street clothes, which did not convey a professional image. I believe that having staff wear uniforms or name tags would enhance the overall guest experience and convey a sense of professionalism. Given these circumstances, my family ultimately had to vacate your hotel and find accommodations at the Embassy Suites. While I understand that hotels can be fully booked, the absence of a proactive approach to addressing the situation was disheartening. Acknowledging the issue and offering assistance would have gone a long way in improving our experience. Checked in about 6:00 both employees working at front desk were very rude went up to the room finally to see the AC was not working my husband noticed that the sheets had a whole bunch of hair you could tell the sheets were not changed I called front desk the lady sounded very very aggravated Barry Road she told me I couldn't do anything as maintenance would not be there till the next morning she had no rooms because they were fully booked which was hard to believe also she stated that room service was gone and if I wanted sheets I'd have to come and get them downstairs I advised her that I would not be changing the sheets myself I paid for this room to be accommodated therefore we ended up leaving due to the fact it was probably about 80° in the room and the service at this place is just horrible I would not recommend anybody to stay here even after going downstairs and asking for a refund she stayed on the phone with her boss the whole time didn't apologize nothing they get a minus zero
