Clean and safe

Our stay initially started ok except that the whole property was so dark that we weren’t even sure if it was open. Check in was fine and the room was clean. On the 2nd day power went out due to a tree falling around 3pm. Hotel was completely dark - no emergency lighting nothing. We went to dinner hoping it would be back on. We came back around 745 - pitch black. Staff said the power co. was reporting the power to be on by midnight. At that point we packed in the dark by the light of our phones and went to a new hotel. Hotel refuses to give refund for that night - said the power came back on by 830. Terrible customer service. I can’t believe they would expect a customer to pay. We had been patiently waiting for the power but when midnight was reported to us that was too much. I recognize this was out of their control but the hotel should give some type of refund. Don’t recommend based on the condition of the property and the customer service.

Shower had no pressure. There was food in the fridge. Breakfast was horrible.

We stayed here for one night to go on the Polar express train ride. This property was very conveniently located. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice with coffee waffles. And cereal. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Front desk person very friendly. Room was very nice and comfortable. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. This place wasnt far from where the polar express train ride. Overall, we had a great stay.

very close to our destination

This was just a 1night stay for the polar express train ride so it served its purpose. The room was warm and comfortable but there was lady bugs everywhere. Also at 6:00 in the morning our smoke detector started going off randomly and beeped for a solid 10min before randomly cutting off. When calling the front desk we were asked “is someone taking a hot shower?” Which we all got a kick out of. Overall it was a good experience, close to down town attractions and eating joints, and had the amenities listed.

The hotel was a slightly older, but suitable for one night. The room smelled like mildew, there stains on the furniture and bedding. Found several hairs on the towels, but the receptionist quickly brought us new towels when I called about that. The hotel was quiet, the bed was comfortable. Again, it was suitable for a one night stay.

All of the desk staff was very friendly. The room and beds very comfortable. We appreciated that it was pet friendly! Would definitely stay here again.

Nearky fell in a handicap room. Water on the floor. Pipe under the sink was leaking very badly. I could've asked for another room but was settled in & ready for bed. I put the garbage can underneath.

Great place to stay . Will definitely check it out next time.

Enjoyed my stay and great location for polar express train ride….

We have stayed here before. We were just sight seeing for a few days. My only complaint would be that the breakfast was really lacking.

The staff was extremely helpful! The hotel was a little dated and needed new paint and holes in walls repaired! I still felt that everything was clean. The toilet was extremely small and not suitable for adults!

Bed was very hard. Room didn’t get cleaned while staying. Had to request towels.

The elevator smelled weird, but other than that everything was perfect.

Good stay and very clean. The mattresses were a little stiff to my liking!
