Motel 6 Soledad, CA

I liked that it was in a good location and easy to book, check in and out. The room was nice. The only thing i didnt like is that they didnt have breakfast.

Room was clean and the service was great. Better motel I've stayed at in the area.

It was a great price and the beds were super comfy. The staff was also great. I just don’t think the cleaning person did the bathtub as there were hairs in it on the side of the back wall. Overall, I’d stay there again. Granted, it echoes when someone is talking in the hallway on the first floor.

This Motel 6 was much better than the last 6 I stayed in. These are sparce and basically cheap, but convenient for one night stopovers. However, I found early in the morning after hearing an alarm that the window had been left open all day and night. I didn’t open it. It had been left open by cleaning staff.

Newer decor and furnishings, close to highway and very good restaurant on the premise and multiple other options close by.

Air in water lines. have to wait 5 minutes for hot water delivery. Room needs a soft chair for watching TV. Will be hard to stay there for more than a day or two and I'll be coming back to the area for longer business stays in the future,

Spacious room, modern and clean. Bed was comfortable and a large TV. Staff is friendly. Will recommend

Front desk person not good at explaining anything. No instructions on how tv works. Didn’t appear to have local channels feed.

Courteous staff

Room was clean, remodeled and spacious. Staff is friendly. Parking gets full where sometimes you have to park on the other side of the building

Only two choices to stay in Soledad. Super 8 seemed cleaner but they booked up the day we were in town for my cousins wedding down the street. There were sewer flies all over the room. Asked for a different room but they had no vacancies. It took us an hour to clear the room out. Then we had to go down to CVS to buy cleaning products and gloves. The bathtub was dirty and there was brownish stuff in the sink. After bleaching the tub, sink and toilet looked much cleaner than we got it. The bedding was somewhat new. But after lifting the mattress there was dust. We had a vacuum we used for the car, and used our own blankets. I’ve stayed at motel 6’s before, for an overnight stay but maybe it was just the location. Also felt unsafe seen a lot of suspicious activity. Only plus was the Windmill Restaurant next door.

Nice and updated with a restaurant next door.

I have no major complaints and would stay here again in the future. Minor issues were MY expectations for a little more attention to details in cleaning.

Beyond expectation. Not the same Motel 6 that I used to know.

It was nice that bed was made daily & replaced with fresh towels & soap. The pool had dirt on the floor (perhaps from windy days), not sure if this is an ongoing issue, and no towels by the pool so had to ask for extra towels from the front clerk. We still enjoyed the hot spa and pool. During weekdays Thurs-Friday the motel was quiet from folks, however, Saturday adult males talking loudly in the hallway, then noisy young kids arrived at 10:30pm & settled down at 11:40pm once I called front desk. It was nice that parking was available & food options were nearby.

We came into Salinas for a funeral and since it was the weekend of the concourse de elegance there were no rooms available in salinas or monterey that wete reasonably priced. So i looked in soledad and was a little nervous being a motel 6 in soledad. However i was pleasently surprised as to how clean our room was, we didnt use the pool but it was very clean and beautifully set up, the water preasure was good, but the beds were the best. They were so comfortable i dusnt feel like i was sleeping in a hotel much less a motel 6. I was very grateful for the comfort and cleanliness.
