The Old 77 Hotel is quintessential Warehouse District New Orleans. Beautiful exposed brick, hand hewn wood floors and tasteful art. Excellent location, hospitable and accommodating staff. In a city known for incredible dining, there are so many outstanding restaurants both in the Hotel (Compere Lapin) and walking distance from this location.

Great experience at this property. When this hotel says they are pet friendly they are very pet friendly my pet had just an awesome experience at this location the staff welcomed him made him feel like he was part of our family and that was so important to us.

The room was just the right size. The hotel was basic, but sophisticated. They paid attention to detail, leaving a lovely hand written card for my birthday, and even upgrading my room. We had a pleasant visit. The walls are a bit thin, so you might hear the people next door, but it didn't affect us!!! The parking lot across the street is convenient, and easily accessible.

Counter was welcoming and good but rest of employees average. Morning lady’s doing coffee rude and with a big face never wanted to help. They were with the phone. Looks like the phone was fist than the guest.

Pretty hotel, older building, nicely decorated; good location, only 4 blocks or so to the French Quarter. The entrance is not entirely clear. Front and center with no indication, and most often blocked by vehicles and when delivery trucks. The staff maintained the walkway well enough, but no way really to avoid other pedestrians with an overabundance of foliage. Check in took a while with only 1 person there (1-2 pm) who said we were being upgraded to a nicer room "with a view." Turns out the room was a basicy king room, and the view was the construction of a parking lot across the street. There was one chair to sit, other than the bed, and no coffee pot to get going before the lobby coffee station opened at 7:30. While the facilities are quaint, some items were hard to miss, including an ice machine that needed a good scrub down. We might try the Old 77 again, but would consider other locations if available.

It's a nice little hotel, an option among many in New Orleans. One trick is to make sure you get a window, as some rooms are inside rooms, literally with no outside lights. I guess this is ideal if you want to sleep.

I have stayed in multiple great hotels in New Orleans, but this was my favorite as far as aesthetic. It’s a combination of mid century modern and industrial and is fun to just explore and check out the details. Staff was super friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderfully renovated property! The beds were comfortable, blackout curtains were great, bathroom was totally gutted and redone very nicely. Excellent water pressure in our 2Q and a nice minibar with lots of options. Bummer the coffee bar downstairs didnt open until 7:30.
