A safe place with history. However, we had experience long wait for the elevator due to 2 out of 3 elevators out due to maintenance. It was very unexpected for the one short night stay while we were there. The inconvenience unfortunately was hard when I was traveling with 2 young kids with luggages taking the stairs after 15 minutes of wait for the service elevator. But the staff was very nice who showed us the service elevator then walked us through the staircase with us. I still appreciate all teh staff’s help.

We did not use any of the ammunition’s but check in was easy and staff was great. Hotel was comfortable and clean.

Second time staying at this hotel, and I have to say this trip was not that great. During both trips, you could hear every time somebody took a shower or flushed the toilet in any of the rooms around you. The second night we were there this time, one of the elevators was still broken from our last stay in October, another elevator broke while we were there and the fire department had to rescue people from the inside, half of the escalators stopped working, and a disturbed woman pulled the fire alarm at 1 AM. Needless to say if I have another choice, I will probably pick a different hotel. The elevators were not all working the last time we were there as well, which was in October.

Room looks like the carpet hasnt been vacuumed because of the oules of dust in every corner which activated my allergy to dust. Tv should be updated with faster service to the quality of the entertainment

Our shower head was broken, leaked water all over the place, had a difficult time not having water spill out onto the floor. Also prior to the use of the shower saw hair on the tub floor.

I havent stayed here since the late 90s and found myself needing to stay in the area for a funeral. No valet parking, no room service, room vanity light didnt work in the bathroom and tub dis not drain freely. No vending machines and just an overall low level type of people. Never again. So sad to see such a beautiful propertt brought to ots knees.

Oddly neglected property, in the sense that the coffee wasn’t replenished, nor the water, nor was there a blanket in the room. Think Motel 6, back when it was “6”.
This hotel is not flagged, so they are on their own, with, I suppose, no quality checks or enforced standards. All in all, a property in decline.
