Great place to stay! Avoid first floor booking if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise lovely and clean with great lobby and breakfast and other amenities

Excellent location, easy walk to Smith College and downtown Northampton. Comfortable bed. Really nice breakfast and the wood burning fireplace in the breakfast room was a comfortable touch on a cold day.

A great place to stay. Continental breakfast fantastic. Only compliant would be the room smelled a little musty (mildew).

Very comfortable and “home like” small boutique hotel in a nice neighborhood. Very convenient for Northampton and Florence while visiting family. Wonderful continental breakfast spread and coffee. Warm beverages 24 hours allows for a very comfortable stay.

Our king room was clean and very comfortable with lots of room. The staff was friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed the plentiful continental breakfast. We would stay at the Ellery next time we are back in the area.

One of the best hotel experiences went ever had. The kindness and very welcoming mien of the staff was like a balm at a personally difficult time. Everything is sparking clean, the bed very comfortable, great shower, awesome breakfast options, always plenty of coffee and tea. Plus the location can't be beat. We were able to walk down beautiful Elm Street to a grocery/liquor store plus so many cafes and restaurants. Don't miss this place.

Very nice staff and small place but cozy, clean, and comfortable. The king bed room is huge and air conditioner is excellent and super silent.

First time staying there. Friendly courteous helpful staff who took time to talk to me while checking me in. Stayed there for a family funeral with other family members. I enjoyed coming back to my hometown and feeling welcomed. I would stay there again.

When I booked this hotel I was not expecting a mint on the pillow, but I was expecting at least as nice as a baseline Marriott. Not exactly the experience I anticipated for the price. I travel a lot and not even having a glass for a toothbrush in our room was odd. The rooms are so barebones and I feel like this is something you should be explicit about to visitors. Also, we asked for housekeeping everyday and they never took out the trash or removed cups or dishes and there was a residual coffee stain outside our room (not from us) on the floor that was cleaned during our 3 day stay. Additionally, there were dingy marks on the white bedding and some splatters on the shower curtain. The stay felt more equivalent to a private room in a hostel versus a boutique hotel experience. The pictures are not reflective of the space itself. The staff was exceptionally nice and lovely, so I feel this is more reflective of ownership versus staff.

Quaint little motel in great location. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

We were visiting several friends in the area and wanted to bring our dog; not only is the Ellery pet-friendly, it's friendly, convenient and comfortable. We had everything we needed and there are some beautiful trails and dog runs nearby. We will definitely choose the Ellery again.

Only negative I have is couple above our room must’ve lived in a barn I’m a big guy and try to walk cautiously at night not to disturb.these people kept walking as if walking with boots till about 1or 2 am. Not hotel’s fault some people are just unique lol. The bed was very comfortable,hot water in shower,tub combo.i didn’t do breakfast but even after hours tea and few items available if needed.

The room was great, exactly what I expected and nice. Nothing lavish or opulent but was very nice. Very nice shampoo and toiletries The breakfast was AMAZING and I really really really value that. The nook is very cute and the food was to die for. Check in and check out was seamless, I didn't talk to a single person and had no issues. Which is super nice for quiet solo travel.

The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. The lobby/breakfast area was so cozy. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back !

This is a great property with comfortable rooms and nice touches like cookies and spa water in the lobby. Would definitely come back again.
