Wonderful stay. The gentleman checking us in at the front desk was very nice. Room was spotless. The restaurant was stunning. We have been very blessed to stay at some of the most beautiful places around the world and we had a wonderful time here. We loved the country feel. Felt right at home wearing a cowboy hat!

Loved staying here. We thought the hotel was very cute and cozy. The gym was decent for a quick workout and everything was very clean. The breakfast was great as well. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Dirty rooms

We booked a room with a balcony and enjoyed our coffee while taking in the crisp December air and views. Room was comfortable, clean and conveniently located to the canyon. Walkable to nearby McDonalds for quick snacks. Bathtubs employed shower curtains, which was a pain to deal with, but manageable with our one-night stay. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Friendly staff and nice facility.

The worst service in the restaurant in this hotel. We were told at the front desk. We don’t need to make a reservation for dinner. We walked in there at seven and the lady who introduced herself as a supervisor there, Bruner after waiting 15 minutes at the front came and told us the first availability they have is 830 and she was sorry. I will not go back to that hotel with this service and I do not recommend it.

As much as we wanted to love this place, it just didn't happen, it is well maintained and clean, but not anywhere near worth the price charged, I rarely base a review on price only, but when you get to the 4 or 5 hundred dollar range, certain things are expected.

Cold!

The hotel is great. The restaurant of the hotel serve good food but the service is very slow. There were only 3-5 tables total and we waited for more than 1 hr to get the food. Another thing to be aware is that even though the hotel is less than 2 miles to the Grand Canyon national park entrance, it could take 1.5 hr to get in the park in the morning because of the long lines. So entering in the afternoon and stay in the lodges would be a smarter choice.

Not worth the money. We were not able to check in until an hour after the designated check-in time, only to be told to come back after 30 minutes twice!!! Then the front desk laughed at us after asking for compensation for being delayed, and said we can give you a box of cookies. No robes in the room. After asking front desk for a corkscrew, we were told to go to the bar to open our wine. Which then, had to take place outside the bar. Not cool for being late to check in and trying to make a dinner reservation.

We stayed at The Grand Hotel due to the proximity to the Grand Canyon as well as the on-site amenities. The property itself has a warm, rustic, cozy-cabin vibe. I really liked the high ceilings and open floor plan. Beyond the front desk is a fireplace and sitting area with couches and places to play board games. There’s ample private seating and separate areas that allow for additional coziness and privacy. There’s an on-site gift shop with lots of Grand Canyon items as well as art pieces and pottery from local artists. While we didn’t visit the “saloon,” it looked well-stocked, and the staff seemed very friendly. We dined at the on-site restaurant and the food was delicious, and the wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. Back at the room, the room accommodated my husband, daughter and me nicely. Everything was in excellent working condition, and the beds were comfortable. The only negative side to our stay—the floors looked like they all needed a good sweeping throughout the hotel. Otherwise, the bathrooms and other hotel areas were clean. I would definitely recommend The Grand Hotel to my friends and family :)
