The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali

We would stay at Westin again. Great for families and fantastic staff. Our room initially needed some tidying, however we did not encounter any issues after the first day.

Beautiful resort. Loved the pools and elegance. Close to Whalers Village and shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful property, live music, feeding of birds/coi fish, pool area was incredible and the beach access was easy. . It was a magical time

Parking is expensive.

The hotel was nice but it was not worth the price we paid. We went to almost all the restaurants on the property and one of them we had an awful experience. It was called Hale Moʻolelo. We went for dinner and it was like they forgot they seated us and didn't come to even bring cups of water until like 15 mins later. When we finally ordered drinks they gave my husband a cocktail instead of a mocktail.

Great resort. Will stay there again.

Beautiful location and property. With flamingos and koi fish pond! Beach is within a few steps from the hotel’s pool and walkable to restaurants and shops at Whalers Village. Clean, bed and pillows super comfortable.

I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend to everyone.

Fabulous and family friendly

The good: Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, lots of amenities and one of the top beach fronts in the world. Clean rooms, comfy beds, nice views either side. The not so good: For a hotel that is not all-inclusive the price is steep (over 800 a night), but I did stay during Christmas so that may have been a factor. Also, the rooms were Marriott level quality - which is not to say that its bad, but you expect a higher quality with Westin Hotels, especially at that price point.

Booked trip to bring in the New Year and to help celebrate my grandmother’s 80th birthday. This was her first time to Hawaii. Pro(s): -Listed as a four star hotel -Nice Amenities -Beautiful property, especially the lobby area -Overall Friendly staff -Our room was pretty updated -Lots to do at and around the hotel -They have a beach wheelchair available for anyone unable to safely walk the beach due to mobility issues (very helpful as my 80 year old grandmother struggled walking on the sand) -Thoughtful wooden engraved gift to help celebrate my grandmother’s birthday (such a thoughtful gesture and definitely helped start the trip off great) Con(s): -Pay attention when booking. There is a huge difference between “oceanfront” and “ocean view”. Rm. 383*’s ocean view was of a parking lot. If you turn towards the corner of the balcony you’ll see the ocean. -Hotel room has roaches (palm size and smaller). The first night we were greeted by a huge roach scurrying across the room when we turned on the light. Absolutely disgusting. We then requested to change rooms only to have a dead roach viewable the rest of that stay (rm 978). Compensation for roaches: room change upon our request (two bed queen to having to share a king size bed), $800 off (for the cost difference to having to downgrade beds, $200 towards inconvenience), resort fee ($100) & parking (~$100) waived. Compensation for $4k for a 2 night stay to deal with roaches feels unacceptable, however, this was their offer.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Plenty of dining and shopping nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of nice pools on site including adults only section. We will be back!

Frontdesk was the worst i have ever experienced. They seriously need some soft skills training. This kinda behavior is a deal breaker for me... i am never going to visit westin maui.

We loved the property… kids had a lot of swimming pools to choose from. We are certainly coming back
