I was given a accessibility room, which I unknowingly booked. when i informed the desk staff on arrival i was told it couldnt be changed as i booked through a Third Party (Expedia) The hotel was very empty so i couldnt see the problemI . So the whole stay was in a room which wasnt fit for purpose. I was very unhappy at this.

My only issue that stoped it getting 5 stars was. I was in a disabled room, with an emergency exit sign in the room. God that little green bulb is bright. I had to find a position where i wasn't looking at it.

Room 019. Dark grey dirty looking depressing carpet. Stipled artex on ceiling. No sockets by bedside! Unnecessary curtain covering a wall and falling onto tea making tray. Room stank of some type of cleaning product, made me wheezy, it wouldn't go even with window open as much as they let you. Couldn't sleep because of the constant noise from the aircon/heater unit: there was no remote control provided. Green light above door shining into room all night. Also outside noise from a great big generator box, noisy all night. Needed a decent coffee in the morning but it was luke warm and tasteless, out of a machine, yuk. The juice wasn't proper juice; sugary and worse than Tesco value. No fried or boiled eggs, just tasteless scrambled. Sausages were cheap, like Tesco value. Nice bacon and tomatoes. Heating trays did not keep food hot enough.

Overall experience excellent

The breakfast was awful, no other choice of eggs only scrambled, the bacon was rock hard sausages over cooked, and cold. We didn't even bother with breakfast the last day, for what we paid i expect a better standard of food.Noise from people next door went on all night. We wont be returning.

Hotel was very comfortable except for hot air heating which I dont like

the hotel was lovely, but we were not to of the door between our room and another room, which ment the person in the other room was talking on the phone from about 10pm untill 02.30 which was very loud so very bbad nights sleep, that was on the 1st night and the same happened 2nd until 02.40 am another bad nights sleep, the food excellent, the room around the skirting boards very dusty, but apart from that it was lovely, but would not stay there again because of the doors between the rooms no privacy at all.

Good basic hotel. Staff friendly, welcoming and accommodating

The double bed seemed to be a small double.The electric sockets were to low for us older people to bend down to use.The remote control for the t v never worked and lastly the toilet holder kept falling off.Overall the room and hotel were great,staff were very good.We will be staying again in the new year.thank you.

Clean friendly well sited and efficient

Generally stay was good. Breakfast was ok but bacon was consistently very overdone. Would be useful to have had a couple of additional plug points, eg second side of bed

My quilt cover was torn and only noticed when getting into bed. Mentioned it during check out and was asked "did you tell anyone?", er no I was getting into bed. How does something like that get missed? Photo shows tear after I'd flipped the quilt.

The air conditioning blew cold air most of the time and the lift was working but it sometimes broke down.

Very good

Stay was what we needed. Was close to where we needed. Beds were however very uncomfortable. It had a dip in the middle that me and my husband kept rolling into. Hotel was Clean and staff were friendly.

A very comfortable hotel located near the M5. Good breakfast, nice, helpful staff.

Conveniently situated central to visit places of interest and the seaside. Did have problem with room, but was sorted when moved to another.
