Repeated fire alarms on the Monday evening didn’t improve.
On Monday evening my partner unfortunately fell and I was unable to help her up so I pressed the assistance button . Reception phoned but was only interested in telling me how to switch it off and didn’t ask what the problem was, then said she would send a colleague. The colleague then arrived and proceeded to show me how to switch it off and was about to leave when I pointed out my partner on the floor. “Oh , I will get a colleague “. Then a man ,who I assume was the duty manager “ arrived and we were able to get her up.
The lift was then out of order for two days so I don’t need to elaborate on the problem of being disabled on the first floor.
I must at this point praise staff who helped me get her down the stairs but would suggest you get a different contractor to maintain your lift.
So all this did nothing to enhance our visit, the reason for which was the funeral of my partners 99 year old father
